I would like to know your rules for using optifine in youtube videos and whether you allow the use of the mod in youtube videos. Don't wish to be breaking the rules of using optifine. Also, I love the mod, you do great work with it! ^^

Hi, I seem to be getting a crash for Aquaculture 2 and this didn't crash before I put this mod into my mod list. Has to do with the Bobber item (rendering) in aquaculture and the crashlog is as follows: https://gist.github.com/DatrixTHLK/d57b93df878d5fdeda1735360de96ef2 Pre9

What I mean is that I didn't crash until I put optifine into my mod list

Minecraft 1.15.2

Forge: 31.1.18

Optifine: HD_U_G1_pre9 (Preview)

Aquaculture 2: 2.0.9

So I just got around to putting OptiFine into my mod list, and every time I try and start up minecraft with it in my list I get this error.

The game crashed whilst unexpected error
Error: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: net.minecraft.client.renderer.entity.EntityRendererManager.validateRendererExistence()V

After looking at the changelog for version 1.15.2_hd_u_g1_pre9, I see at the bottom of the list is the line Not compatible with Forge. And now I see the issue, as I use Forge.

So I am just curious about what happened that it is no longer Forge compatible, and if there is any idea if/when this would be fixed

it could be that the early stages the author is getting it to work with minecraft 1.15.2 first and waiting for a decent forge version to come out that's stable enough to try make compatible with. just my thoughts though.

There appears to be a problem with networking. Servers do not show their status on the Multiplayer screen, and if you try and join a server you get:

Unfortunately, the thread is rarely checked by sp614x. He responds to issues created on his GitHub fairly quickly.

that is kinda what I was thinking was going on, and I do know that a new forge version just came out a bit ago, so maybe that will be changing soonish

Is it possible to have Optifine activated on later versions than the official one? If yes, how?

Getting back into Minecraft with an older machine, and fortunate enough to have pay now. So I kicked a few extra sheckles at the developer. Hope he or she is someplace they can spend.

I wanted to ask for permission to use this mod in an Modpack i want to Create (MC 1.12.2)

Been getting this issue for a few versions of optifine connected textures where the glass panes don't connect correctly in certain directions. Glass blocks are not affected. I checked these forums and reddit to find other people with same issue but i cannot find a fix. This even appears in optifine only versions of the game no resource packs loaded. And a friend of mine with brand new hdd / windows install and fresh game install has the same exact issue. So I can rule out old files and resource packs entirely since they don't exist to begin with.

Please post this on the official OptiFine GitHub, by opening an issue. The developer doesn't check this thread often any more, whereas he responds to GitHub issues rather quickly.

I'm uncertain if this is because it's easier for him to use, or if he just hasn't had time for anything else.

1.15.2 When using the transfer function to transfer to others, it causes problems in the picture, which will result in a "computer black screen" after many times.
