Man, the Optifine upgrade has been stuck at 80% for weeks now. Curious, did it hit a big roadblock? With no ETA?
I think the biggest benefit of Optifine is increased FPS. Does that portion of Optifine work yet? If so, would it be possible to release a version that gives us at least that?

You mean like the preview versions that are available right now by clicking "preview versions" on the download page?

I do have to laugh. Minecon is coming up this month where the 1.14 features will be announced. 1.13 took SO FREAKIN' LONG to roll out, and when it did it was more a "rough snapshot" quality release than an actual "Release". I have to wonder if my server players (basically my wife) will push for us to be running 1.14 Snapshots before I can get Vivecraft (requiring Optifine) on my server. It takes as long as it takes, and putting money in the tip-jar will be a priority for thanking the Project Lead for the work.

according to earlier suggestions I used the standard CTM template to make connected texture glass panes. This seems to work well when viewing the glass panes from the north and east sides. but the glass pane borders are in the wrong places when viewed from the west and south sides. what can I do to fix this?
maybe there is a texture pack out there with a lot of technical usage of CTM that I can download and pick through to help me find my own answers to this and some other future questions that will come up?
It may not be your problem, to begin with.
In the past, the glass panels rendering was referred to as "cumbersome" and "buggy" not once.

I guess if no one else has any suggestions about how to get my glass panes working with borders in CTM then I think I will just remove the borders. I think I should be just as happy with the glass panes that way. I usually strive to solve a technical dilemma when I believe it is not too far beyond my current grasp, but I am also prepared to move on.
Is there a proper place for bug reports? I'm testing OptiFine 1.13.1 HD U E3 beta5 and Villagers, players with "Glowing" are a solid glow color rather than outlined. Also, grass and variants (clover, double-tall) are gray. It's cool if these are known bugs and all, I just want to report them in the correct spot if they have not been already.

Thank you! Sorry I missed it. And yes, the problems I found have already been reported. In the case of "Glowing", I had to turn off "Fast Render", I think, but everything is as I would expect now.
Optifine does well on FPS but it lags hard in loading the world, idk if it is just 1.13 thing or Optifine being a beta thing. (Optifine 1.12 doesn't have any issues like this.) Plus the "Smooth FPS" option this is still broken. (unplayable when turned on).
Yo, sp614x, I just had to say it but THANK YOU SO MUCH! Optifine is fantastic, and what's more fantastic is you've kept it up and running for SO LONG. Also, for real, I've been refreshing your page every day waiting for 1.13, and like a maniac, you added a %complete! What a madman! Keeping us in the loop of when you'll be done is so nice and completely above and beyond. It really feels like you're treating me like a king!
Isn't Magic Launcher dead? why is it still linked?
ML , can only be fixed once MCPconfig and Forge 1.13.1 rewrite is completed . As you may have noticed you can make a 1.13.1 Profile , but the Minecraft launcher crashes . Can anyone tell me if there is an up to date CTM guide out there anywhere? I can only find out of date guides.

BDCraft might work as a guide to CTM

Optifine isn't working for me. MC 1.13.1
I downloaded E3 Beta 7. It's not showing up in the game. I've used Optfine before so I know how to do it.
I'm not sure what the problem is. I dont get any error messages either. It's just not showing up under Video Settings
Do you have the Optifine 1.13.1 profile pointed to the Oracle Java
example C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_181\bin\javaw.exe
I had no problem ,double click to install . shader button is there .
