Hey, I have an odd bug. Whenever I install Optifine, the regular Minecraft icon in the taskbar gets changed to some weird picture (attached below). There doesn't seem to be any other problems other than this, but the odd picture does happen to bother me. How do I get it to change back?
Hi, I'm having an issue with this. I have the following mods installed with forge:
... http://www.minecraftexe.com/glsl-shaders-mod/
...java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 28
at net.minecraft.client.renderer.block.model.FaceBakery.func_178404_a(FaceBakery.java:120)
at net.minecraft.client.renderer.block.model.FaceBakery.fillVertexData(FaceBakery.java:114)...
There is a newer version of the shaders which works with OptiFine D1 and latest Forge.
@sp614x So far on at least every 1.8 version of OF I've tried, I get a pretty weird bug involving mouse sensitivity. This still happens on the latest versions of Optifine Ultra for 1.8.0 and 1.8.1:
If I set max framerate above "V-Sync", or the minimum option, normal mouse movement randomly and frequents accelerates to EXTREME speeds for quick half second bursts. The effect is that every 3 seconds or so, my head will spin around like crazy for a fraction of a second.
Again, this only happens if I move the max framerate from the default lowest option, V-Sync.
If it matters, the monitor I play on can handle 60 FPS. I'm running dual monitors, both have a 60hz refresh rate and neither of them change the issue.
I've noticed, however, that adjusting sensitivity changes how frequently it happens, but DPI does not.
Example: I can cycle through all DPI options and none of them will stop this weird bug.
However, if my Sensitivity in MC is set to 100, the speedy mouse thing happens like during all movement. If I lower it to 70, it happens about 1/3 of the time I move my mouse.
I figure someone has came to you with this problem before, but if your clueless as to what I mean by any of this, I can record a video.

I've had the same issue for a few months now but haven't found anything that points to Optifine doing it in my case. I've just learned to ignore it.

Couple of things update your Java for security . Also You have that Intel HD graphics . You need to update your video driver .and get into the habit of running the vanilla profile often to update Minecraft libraries

Hey guys, I'm getting something really weird going on when trying to use the Optifine 1.8.1 Ultra. Magic Launcher kept telling me that there was one error with the newest version, C7, so I decided to download the previous versions to see if I could get them to work. The best way for me to explain it is just to post pictures.
And here's the current log from Magic Launcher

I finally went back and tried the B6 version and that finally worked so the problem is only with the C versions. Any ideas?
What happened to multi core chunk loading that was in the 1.7.10 version? i realize it caused issues for some but it worked perfectly fine for me and helped with performance when loading new areas

Try running the optifine installer and seeing if Optifine works without magic launcher. Also be sure that your downloads aren't corrupted. It should work in magic launcher if it works without it... so I don't know what could be causing this issue unless magic launcher is not yet compatible with the C versions of optifine.
@sp614x Since this hasn't been answered yet (I think) and I wanted to suggest this as well I wanna put it on again. So PLEASE add this to Optifine, I live this mod, I donated and I am proud of my cape every single day. Please
I had the same issue with another game and I was able to fix it by adjusting the polling rate of my mouse from 1000Hz to 250Hz (and lower). You may try this fix!
This had an interesting impact. My polling rate was at 1khz and I lowered it to 250hz. This just makes it happen less frequently and makes the large random movement less, but still more than noticable. Keep in mind that this issue persisted on other mice I tried so this isn't a problem with my mouse. And obviously I prefer a higher polling rate for more accurate cursor control. All in all, this was progress at least.
@sp614x any thoughts? I seem to be the only person I know that this happens to.
TIA
Is this feature going to be added soon?
There is a newer version of the shaders which works with OptiFine D1 and latest Forge.
From what I know, you can make tools (pickaxes, axes, swords...) look damaged according to its durability.
Custom item textures = cit
Could you perhaps link me to that newer version? I've been looking around but haven't been able to find it.
Best thing to do is to get mods from the forums here if available.

Thanks!

I finally went back and tried the B6 version and that finally worked so the problem is only with the C versions. Any ideas?
Nope

When I use the B versions, they all have no errors. It's only the C versions that have errors. So far it still works with the one error. Any ideas what this is though? Thought I should let the Optifine developers know.
Try running the optifine installer and seeing if Optifine works without magic launcher. Also be sure that your downloads aren't corrupted. It should work in magic launcher if it works without it... so I don't know what could be causing this issue unless magic launcher is not yet compatible with the C versions of optifine.
Never arbitrary,

The option "Firework Particles" was added in B6.
