Is there any way to also had the ZIP files that were used before you added the automatic installer? I and many others very much appreciate how easy it is to install optifine onto the regular minecraft launcher, however there are places were the ZIP would come in handy. For example, the Feed the Beast launcher. With the current JAR file setup, you cannot add Optifine to the mods in any of the modpacks. If it at all possible and not too much trouble, it would be amazing if you could include the ZIP file for the downloads! Thanks for reading!

Hi so I have been having some problems with OptiFine, whenever the mod is installed all I see is just black. I can log in to my worlds and on multiplayer, but it is like everything is black. Any help?

Where do you report (possible?) bugs? I just put in a GTX 780 Ti and I noticed a flickering, especially in the forest trees. I removed all mods etc. except for Forge and Optifine. The problem happened with 1.6.2 and ultra C2 and also with 1.6.4 ultra C7. I had the most updated Nvidia drives for the card, but rolled back to the version the card came with and had the same problem (so I re-installed the most current ones). The flickering is from small sections of the world not being rendered and you see through to other objects (below ground). I did capture some in a screen shot, but it happens so fast that the screen shots don't do it justice, but you can see it in a few spots.

I had the same problem and my lack of reading that first page led to a bunch of headaches.
After I disabled threaded optimization all was beautiful.
im installing the hd c7 version for 1.6.4 but im used to the kovacic's modpack installer but its not installing the mod, so im going oldschool on this . the problem is, i dont know and dont understand how to install it, i read the instructions but i didnt understand anything, please help

I had the same problem and my lack of reading that first page led to a bunch of headaches.
