Well, it's still going to take a while.

That sir, is minecraft pocket edition. Not Minecraft coder pack.
Been dealing with crashes for a while now on my lan server, even through numerous updates. I assume it has something do with my computer specs because my friend is not experiencing any problems on our lan server.
new C7 and C8 release is not compatible with BIOMES O PLENTY ..
keeps crashing
Nandox C7 works fine with BoP. Haven't had love with C8 but it isn't because of conflict with BoP/Optifine. If you have upgraded to .307 or above of BoP delete the WorldCore file in the 164 mod folder and restart.
Also be sure you are using the FML patch earlier in this thread.
Does this work with 1.6.4 Forge? I've tried everything in the instructions for forge and nothing is working? I'm using Batty's Coordinate Mod so they might not be compatible.
Am I missing something, as the texture appears (in game) as a confusing, smashed, texture. As if Minecraft is using my entire animated texture file as a single texture to be applied to the block.
I apologize for the crappy asci drawing I would show an in game picture, but I have difficulty using spoilers to hide the pic.
BTW: I am still using 1.6.2 since the mods that I like using didn't update to 1.6.4 until after 1.7.2 got released through the loader.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
I have searched the internet for any current help with animating textures from mod added blocks, and have just found multiple posts of the exact same thing that I have been trying.
I'd like to receive some useful help about this texture problem of mine, and NOT how to use F##KING spoilers! I DO NOT care how to use spoilers right now, I want some help with this texture!
AWESOME Mod! My computer used to be very slow and this mod improved my fps by alot! I dont know how the maker improved it but it is awesome ! By the way, the mod hasnt still updated it yet to 1.7.2 :"( ^^Thats your reward if you update it xD
Don't ask him to update, its against the rules. Also its currently impossible to update without MCP updating

It still boggles my mind that the author thinks that disabling Minecraft's discrepancy-check should be necessary when it never used to be. I don't know what may have changed inside Minecraft and/or Optifine, but that just seems like an especially lazy approach, and it's completely shut out people who can't change command-line arguments.
It's the equivalent of putting a new lock on your front door, while mangling the internal mechanism such that you have to open it with a bobby-pin instead of a key.
Could someone please tell me what has changed within either of these pieces of software to make this stupid solution the only one?

Well you're obviously trying to install it with Forge (the complex/easy way), because that's the only one where you have to disable the Discrepency-check. It has to do that because Forge will refuse to launch otherwise. sp614x doesn't really have a choice for that. Of course, you could just put it in the mods folder (the simple installation) and you don't have to do that. It's not lazy, especially since he tells you what to put in the command line, you don't need to know really anything to do that, just copy, paste, and launch.

Deleting WorldCore and starting it again doesn't work for me. I'm using Optfine C8, and I think the problem lies with BoP. What's interesting is that there are no problems if I do a fresh install with just BoP and Optifine. As soon as I exit Minecraft and relog, however, the game will either crash on load, or a few seconds later. I guess compatability issues should be expected though since the latest versions of BoP are dev builds. The website even says that these development versions are not guaranteed to work. Still, there must be a workaround for the compatability problem. If someone has another solution, I would love to hear it.
I'm using the resourcepack A'therys Ascended with this mod and the text is really glitchy. Here is an example. Is this Optifine's fault? Or is it the resourcepack?MCP is MCPatcher, right?

That might be partially OptiFine's fault. I've found it doesn't like super-HD fonts very much. All the advice I can give you is to turn off custom fonts.
Though I can see why you might not wanna do that. It looks like you're playing a Hypixel map judging by the leafhead zombie pigman behind the bars. Could take out some of the immersion.
Strangely this error disappears when I delete "WorldCore-universal-1.6.4-1.1.0.17.jar". BoP downloads WorldCore-universal-1.6.4-1.1.0.17.jar again and everything starts up fine. But if I quit MC, and try and start up without deleting that file and letting it download again, it gives me the above error report. Really strange and a bit tedious.
Bit short, aren't we? There are no updates on the front page. It's been stuck at 5% for a while, and neither the Twitter account nor blog has any updates on 1.7.2. Far as I can tell, sp614x might have been eaten alive by rabid chickens last Thursday and development is screwed. You probably should have checked before being terse to a random guy on a forum.

The rumors of me been eaten alive by rabid chickens last Thursday are slightly exaggerated.
I am still waiting for MCP to release a 1.7.x version, only then can the update of OptiFine to 1.7.x be started.
no! optifine is the best and its compatible with almost everything! im using it with other 67 mods and works fine!
keeps crashing

try using -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true JVM Arguments
Try updating forge to Forge 9.11.1.953 and try using -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true JVM Arguments
