I tried multiple different times because I'm trying to run optifine on tekkit. It just refused to work. So I had to go find an older version for 1.5.1 and that worked. The current download for 1.5.1 on this forum does not do anything. Please update it.

Just thought i'd mention the 32 bit texture jumble still persists with 1.5.2 and the custom sky fix still works along with loading with full screen shut off.
please describe your problem more detailed:
did you tried to install them at the same time?
Are you using the right Optifine version for the right Minecraft version? (Which ones?)
(Other Mods you do use?)
I installed Magic Launcher first. OptiFine light works fine, but the other two versions of OptiFine (all for Minecraft 1.5.1) don't work and say they aren't compatible when I add them into Magic Launcher.
Optifine only boosts my fps on multiplayer servers. smh >.< I get 0 fps on singleplayer. Yes, 0. No hyperbole. Very rarely up to 15. Is there a reason why?
I downloaded and installed the 1.5.2 Ultra, but Minecraft keeps running out of memory within a few minutes. I suspect there may be a memory leak somewhere, but I'll keep tinkering with it and see if I can figure anything else out.
I've found a bug concerning Optifine 1.5.2 HD_U_D2 and Forge 1.5.2-7.8.0.684. When both are installed at the same time (everything in normal when it is only one or the other) particles start appearing behind entities (similar to https://mojang.atlas.../browse/MC-9553 in vanilla minecraft where they appear behind water and ice)

This bug started in 1.5.1, and still effects my mod, damage indicators mod. I have had to resort to rendering without using the tesselator, but this only partially helps. I would love for this to be addressed.
I've used ultra AF multi-core etc when they were separate. Haven't used standard and light, sorry.

I'll just go grab Ultra and swap the two in MultiMC.
Hopefully I can get that sweet, sweet 100 FPS I used to get only on my flatmap if I wasn't moving but in Survival. *u*
If not, well, anything better than what I have already would be just as nice.

Just standing still, I get a lovely 50-60 FPS and I actually can't believe I can maintain that while moving around omg
I think 1.5.2 miiiiiight be causing some major FPS drops on occasion (dropping from the 50's down to the teens), but it doesn't make Minecraft unplayable so I'll take it. ouo

Try limiting it to 5 fps below your average fps and turning on all smooth world and fps. Just go through EVERY SINGLE TAB and change it to your liking. Max fps/eye candy.

All it says is "Not Compatible" in red where it would say "OK" when I just had OptiFine Light loaded. When I load either other version by itself, nothing else in the setup loader, it says "Not Compatible"... There isn't much to see other than that.
