Seriously? Try harder dude. Why even bother with these? Hell, you're even smart enough to realise that they're useless tools! Just don't put more clutter on the forums than is already there...

Lol have you ever made a mod if so how good was it this is my first mod, lay off
i mean sure i could make something useful but whats the fun in that????
Maybe not a "try hard", but at least a "try harder, dammit!". What IS the point of such tools? How are they going to benefit the community?
In no way? Well alright then, let's have this topic and mod go die in a fire. You too, while we're at it.
I don't think you get the point of this mod :/ Its to make the game funnier/simpler. Maybe you feel like playing hardcore where you can only use sand/dirt tools, to make the game more challenging. I think this mod adds humor into the game.
if you want humor, make something like a slime cake (JELL-O), which acts much like a cake, but requires only 9 slimeballs. That'd give a use to the slime balls, recover SOME health (mayhaps just half a heart per slice), and add something silly to the game.
Tools that break every 10 uses? That's not fun, that's just a goddamn pain...
The only "use" I could see for such things, is in adventure maps, to make the player(s) have limited uses of tools, so they can break through only a certain amount of blocks.
How about one type of tool that can insta mine any kind of block, dropping whatever it is they normally drop, but has only one use?
Or how about a type of tool that mines an area, rather than a single block? You know, it creates an explosion that doesn't damage the player, but destroys blocks in, say, a 3x3x3 area around the block you hit, dropping whatever they should drop?
That could be interesting, and make mining go faster, not tools that are slower than wood, and die quicker. That's just a pain.
First off about the insta break 1 use tool i was planning to add that, not sure what to call it and how to make it
any tips?
and the sand and dirt are just a few of them soon i will add platinum tools, Titanium tools, as i said this is my first mod im getting familiar with the programming

What is YOUR point? How are YOU going to benefit the community?
Oh, by harrassing new modders? Oh wait... that's not a benefit, that's... hmm let me think... oh yeah a hinderance... the exact opposite of benefit.
This mod provides me the exact same benefit as any other "Let's add new tools materials to the game" mods, next to none, I don't use 'em. However it is something that interests their modders, they learn something in the process of the modding, and may well either inspire another modder to make a mod that I like, or go on to make one that I like.
As it stands someone could have a bloody brilliant idea for a mod, and the raw talent to actually pull it off, and they can go one of two ways, they can see posts by elitist snobs like you, and decide they really don't want to go through the trouble to learn to mod if they have to deal with your kind. Or they can see posts from people like this guy just beginning, and think, "oh well this modding thing seems pretty simple, let's try it"
Yeah Yeah Yeah, this is all theoretical... So let's try something concrete and real, quit being a D-bag and have some flipping manners like you would in the real world.

My point is that weak tools that can only be used a lower amount of times, and take longer to gather stuff than the weakest tool type (wood) is a bad idea. It doesn't really improve the gameplay, it makes it take longer and be more of an annoyance. It hinders progress in fact, as it slows you down.
As I said, the only way I could see such weak/limited tools have ANY use, is in adventure maps, to limit how much stuff the player(s) can break through, or harvest, etc...
And, how am I benefitting the community? I often suggest decent ideas. I'm not saying they're flawless, but they're decent ideas. Heck, I even suggested two more in this very topic. Shows how much you read my post. You just read the first line, if even that much, and ignore the rest, most likely. I also test some mods out, like almost everybody else, as well as testing the game out.
I also tell people that post in the wrong forums where it should be posted, and sometimes, how, if their post was unclear. What do you do for the community exactly?
Elitist Snob? Aw, I'm hurt, really. It's called constructive criticism. Can't handle it? You're probably not cut out for this.
first off if you have any mod requests that have a use request them to me and i will make them, just saying make a useful mod doesnt help me at all
plus i didnt intend for this mod to be good or for anyone to like it i just posted it here to see if anyone would i really could care less what anyone thinks of my mod
