For now, I trust it. There were no .jars or anything in the download, just .class files, and i'm pretty sure .class files can't steal your password.
They could, if the coder took enough time to build all of the necessary code into the updated files... But, after checking a few things, this one does look correct/legit/safe. There are, obviously, several changes, but not enough to be able to pull off a heist of information, AND pull off a working mod at the same time... And none of the called java functions would be related to stealing the infos.
On that note, credits go to the other safe Xray mod post... This one only confirms that it is safe, as does the other one.
If you sissies aren't man enough to use the mod, turn off the internet and THEN use the mod, you can't send a password over the internet if you have NO internet. Nevertheless, he could've made the mod to save the password on a .txt and send it over the internet later, but that would actually be detected as a virus on any antivirus. No virus, no logger, in that case.
Anybody mind explaining this for me?

Even if the file isn't a virus. You should read this:
Quote from Rules »
NEVER
Post Illegal Activity:
- Anything referring to Minecraft hacks;
- Any link or reference to third-party clients or game interfaces;
- Any material that is the work of another individual but is being represented as original. Permission must be obtained from the original creator, and due credit must be given, before including any element of that creator's work.
Mod owner is not known and will never be known.
So how does that fit the t and Cs?
Well then if you didn't write this, took it from somewhere else and can't locate the original author, it sounds to me like you're not allowed to post it.
In addition to credit given, you'd also need permission from the author to include any element of their work that was added by that author. Like for example, if in the vanilla minecraft there's a line that says let's just say
Int JR = 2.2;
and the guy's mod has it set to 2.5 or whatever, THAT you can copy. Honestly, since the lines were already present in vanilla minecraft it would be impossible for anyone to say that you didn't write the line yourself.
However if there is content that was added in later and not present in any minecraft version, then you can't release the mod without permission from the contributor of that content.
Btw if I had this many virus complaints, I'd release source.
K i've decided that anyone comming here trying to PROVE it's a virus is stupid...Why should he prove it too you guys more then he already has? He's not getting paid for it, he's doing it to be nice, if you dont want it go **** yourselves and leave this thread, and why is this stuff not on Drafs page, why dont you question him? How do you know he hasnt hide something, (he's not) I use it I like it and odds are drafs not gonna update, because mods may shut down that forum becasue it's hacks.
