I'd say It would just be best to wait a week or two for the makers of the previous X Ray mods to update them, for all we know this guy wants to steal our accounts...
The key you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.

Even if the file isn't a virus. You should read this:

- Any link or reference to third-party clients or game interfaces;
- Any material that is the work of another individual but is being represented as original. Permission must be obtained from the original creator, and due credit must be given, before including any element of that creator's work.

Mod owner is not known and will never be known.
So how does that fit the t and Cs?
I would like to point out that, although a virus scan can prevent virus, it will NOT prevent a mod that can steal information, simply because many applications can and do send information back and forth. For example: The minecraft launcher sends your information to the minecraft login servers. It's not flagged as a virus, because simply sending information over the internet isn't considered malicious. If a modder wanted, it would be extremely easy to do well within the realm of normal functionality so as to avoided triggering a virus scan...
Virus scans are only really worth running on exe's that can do much more damaging things, such as injecting into other executables, or changing system settings that you would definitely not want changed. A perfect example of a 'mod' that should have a virus scan is the "Minecraft Modchanger" or whatever it was that was posted in German just a bit ago.
All that being said, when it comes to a java mod, it's very quick and easy to see if it's a "virus" (I use the term loosely for those that think anything potentially bad is a virus, even though in this case, virus has nothing to do with java class files). To check if it's... "bad", decompile it and see what java related internal functions are being used. Even better if you decompile the changed files (ca.class and qv.class) and compare the different lines. If he was to try sneaking in something malicious into the code, it wouldn't be easy to hide at all.
And my final point is... If you don't know what the **** you're talking about, don't ****ing talk. Too many times do I see some moron come in saying "it's a virus" just because they failed to get it working properly. On the other side, I see people posting "It's not a virus, because I run a <generic virus scan> and it said nothing" - See my first 3 paragraphs, as your post is 100% useless if it's holding only .class or other java related files.
Now, back to this thread. I didn't test it, didn't check it, nothing. If you want this mod, download it, and figure out/confirm for yourself if it's a virus or not. If you're too scared/stupid to do it safely, then just don't do it.

EDIT:
That's Java Decompiler.
JD-GUI.
I thought there was an official name for it, "Java Decompiler" is a bit vague.
Edit:
Thank you rotten.
"In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
Sure. He host twice the file with a virus. Each time, saying "It's clean and okay", then...
It's getting annoying, you know. I'd rather have to trust that Rotten guy than this freak.
"In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
