- Overview -
This mod will add various potions, most with various strengths. For example, the Health Potion. Comes in 3 forms, Minor (+2hp), Regular (+5hp), and Greater (+10hp).
More potions to come! Please comment with your potion needs!
- How to Use MCP Mod System -
1. Unzip the mod_potions[v#].zip file
2. Place the mod_potions folder into the mcp_13_01.jar file inside the MCP folder (use winRAR, or similar)
3. Run the mcp_13_01.jar (MCP Mod System) instead of minecraft.exe, as it will load on top of it.
That's it! That is how easy MCP Mod System is used!

Hopefully I will be able to make all these!
- Alchemy Bench (Used for making potions!)
- New base for potions: Bonemeal
- Insta Mine (Breaks all blocks w/ 1 hit!)
- Invisibility (Mobs can't see you, or sense you!)
- Nighteye (Able to see in the dark.)
- Stoneskin (Adds to your armor stat!)
- Strength (Adds to your attack!)
- Speed (Run faster!)
- Water Breathing (Breathe Underwater! Duh.)
- Midas Touch (Hit stuff! Turns it to gold!)
- Resist Fire (Take little to no dmg from fire!)
- Polymorph Potion (Use it on a mob, turns it into passive ... chicken, cow, sheep, pig, etc)
- Pacify (All hostile mods become passive!)
- Flight (FLY FREELY! ... Until it wears off.)

This mod didn't take me long to construct. However, I do intend to keep working on this and add some potions with cool effects! Please suggest any ideas you have!
I also intend to change how the glass bottles are made, by smelting glass into liquid glass and then craft that for the vial/bottle/flask. Coming soon.
weak mod :/ nothing special. mo foods is cooler anyway!
Perhaps. However, this mod (and my other ones) are made exclusively for the MCP Mod System. Mostly to help support its growth. Additionally, I intend to keep adding to the potion list.

along with supportive properties why not destructive as well. An unstable concoction, giving the player a hand held explosive that explodes on contact, or a Molotov cocktail.
cool mod, i probly wont download till theres more potions tho (sorry) anyway ideas (some were taken)

Looks good so far. However, I think you should keep away from weapon potions(bombs and whatnot). There's more than enough explosives in minecraft.

I want the table. But ability potions would be awesome.
Nighteye: Similar to SDK's nightvision goggles, but in a potion
Invisibility: Turn invisible. Obviously.
Water breathing: Refills your air bubbles.
Monster-Away: Mobs run away after coming within a certain distance.
Disguise: Temporarily gives you a skeleton skin. Burns off in the daylight.
Fly: Disables gravity on you. Useful but dangerous when it runs out.
Super Speed: Doubles running speed.

I really just used redstone for a quick fix, as I had no idea what to use as the base. I like the idea of bone meal though, and I will probably use it until something better comes along.

The idea of breathing underwater is a long standing one, but one that should always be added. I will work on that one ASAP. Beefing up stats never hurt either.
X-RAY is a good one too, as is the mind control.
I like the superheating one, used instead of coal or something, will have to ponder that one, hmmm ...

I really just used redstone for a quick fix, as I had no idea what to use as the base. I like the idea of bone meal though, and I will probably use it until something better comes along.
