The PremiumWood mod adds no new block IDs for the varied wood types, correct? Every single wood type is created using damage values right?
Just wanted to ask before the mod is updated, so that I know what I'm getting into when I install it.
It does use some block IDs, but as few as possible. Some things like stairs and torches and doors that use damage values as rotation direction (e.g. stair is facing north) cannot be done the same way as things like planks that do not use these damage values.
I figured it out, you have to install MC Extended after you install industrialcraft.
Also, I figured I'd try out the auto modder but I have a Mac :angry.gif:. Is there any chance you will mac a version of that for Mac?
I think that VBScript is windows only code, and the commands in the batch files are windows only I presume, so unless someone wants to figure out a way to port the code into some Mac code, it isn't going to happen, since I have no clue how Macs work (I know how to use a Mac, just the things that a programmer would need to know to make a Mac-compatible program).
Before I finished typing this, I googled about converting a batch file to work in OS X, and it seems possible, but I do not have a Mac to do testing, and if I tried going at it blind, there would be tons of bugs most likely, and it isn't very easy to get a program working by just using a tester to work out bugs, since it would take forever trying to communicate and getting the correct information from the tester to find out what the problem was. If you know of anyone that knows programming in batch code and AppleScript (I think that's somewhat equivalent to VBScript, which is windows-only) on Macs, then maybe some time and effort could be devoted, but I do not know any tech-savvy people who are using Mac OS X.
I loved every mod but PremiumWood is especially charming for decorating!
I hope when you updated this mod it would be possible to use shears on your trees, because leaves would be great for designing different things, like crying hedges and purple fences and etc :biggrin.gif: Keep up a great work!

Thanks! I will implement that, but I will probably be updating the mod first so I can get that out of the way, and then I would do a patch to add the feature when I had time.
Well, if you know how to edit images using a program that can handle transparency (not paint), you can open up the image inside the 'icechanged' folder in the download, then open up a terrain.png file (open minecraft.jar using WinRaR and find the 'terrain.png' and click extract after highlighting it) using the same program, select the 16x16 area of the ice texture, hit "Ctrl+C" to copy it, then right-click on the ice image from the icechanged folder in the image editing window, then click 'Paste' from the drop-down menu that appeared from right-clicking it.
It's actually a lot simpler than it sounds, I just gave all details in case you didn't know how to do something.
Doh! Shoulda thought of that myself, I do that sort of graphic editing all the time. x) Thanks very much!
I really want Premiumwood in 1.7 since that's just... plain awesome. It's one of those mods that enhances the Minecraft gameplay, without making a major overhaul (like More creeps and weirdos for instance)
Probably a silly question, but with the premium wood mod, have you removed the purple heart tree? Because I can't find them anywhere!
Purple trees are in the most recent version of the mod last i saw. Maybe something happened to your version of the mod?
Best suggestion i have is installing the TooManyItems Inventory mod and looking through it's lists to see if the purple heart wood/saplings/craftable items are in there. All i can say is that the 1.6.6 compatible version of the mod has them.
Ughh come on mcp i know its hard to make something about 70% of mooders use for there mods but come on most modders need it to make and upgrade there mods :sad.gif:.
When you update this for 1.7, please add cherry trees. They could have the same leaf texture as silverbells, but in pink. The wood would be a little lighter of a brown than that of the normal minecraft trees. :cool.gif:
GREAT news guys!!! MCP has FINNALLY been udated, meaning that (no promises) most mods SHOULD be up and running on 1.7.2 soon. Im saying this in general, not just Scokeev9's mods
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Ok, in case u didnt notice the recent post, STFU! no1 wants to listen to you whining for a ****ing update! I mean, forget looking like a retard! U probably so stupid u poke a ****ing fish 10 hours straight while expecting a new and different outcome!!

I don't exactly know which mod you're talking about. But thanks, still! =D

message me if you want to join my whitelisted server but make sure you tell me your IGN, server IP is 174.118.99.37
Yep. =D
Nope he's completely dumping these mods because not enough people asked for updates. (;
I don't really make videos that much on my channel, only when I can't find someone to do a proper review of the mod.
Doh! Shoulda thought of that myself, I do that sort of graphic editing all the time. x) Thanks very much!
Dude. He was being sarcastic.
