The best part of most pc games are the people tht mod them.
Try with the "b" key. There is a village very close to spawn point.

I put it in .minecraft. But the .DSstore file there are multiple of them where should i put those?
Ignore those. If you have put all the files in the proper place I don't know what is going wrong...

Do they also upgrade the houses to stone instead of wood once they have enough? might be a nice thing to add.
Final level is stone for the first row, then wood. All-stone houses would be easy to implement, but they do not look very good IMHo...

Hm, this one looks really fun!
I'm about to download it now, but I do have a suggestion for you: Have the buildings use the .tml files from d00dv4d3r's Ruins Mod. There are already a handful of village-type buildings others have constructed with it, and the format seems like a nice standard to sit alongside MCEdit's Schematics files. Having the mod read from a /Millenaire/ directory with subfolders for each building type would not only allow the end user to choose their own templates for each building, but it would also take some of the pressure of coming up with more buildings off of your shoulders as users post their own designs in this topic!
I've had a look at the tml format, and it doesn't really fit my needs. It's optimised for things I do not really need (like procedural generation, which would be cool but would almost certainly mean a pathing nightmare) but doesn't support things I do (like building upgrades). However converting buildings from tml files to mine shouldn't be very tough.

It is just left floating where they can no longer reach it. I suggest you either somehow make it so trees planted by them don't grow to these types of trees or maybe make it so they stack dirt to get to the higher parts of the tree.
That's strange. This mod doesn't work with Somnia v2. Millenaire is so far the only mod that in't compatible with Somnia that I know of. Even dual wielding, optimine, and the pet mod work fine with either. Perhaps someone with a newer version of Somnia could test whether Millenaire will work fine with it?
Speaking of Optimine, that mod works wonders. The slowdown from Millenaire lasts much shorter with that mod installed.
When you first load a map, do the villagers have to hand build the town, because I couldnt find any towns for the first day and a half, and now there are three within easy walking distance of my base, which I am would certainly have seen when I first explored the region.
Either way, this Mod is wonderful and I hope it gets even better!

But I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but there's a couple of things I've found a little weird/bugs.
1) They plant every single sapling they find. Literally, I went down a mine and came back up 5 minutes later with a field of saplings in front of me.
2) The lumberjack glitches and doesn't move. They will either remain stationary or repeatedly hop up and down, and if you push them near trees they act as if they were some kind of forcefield around them.

i built a house that was roughly the same size as the trade center out of un refined wood. i went around town to check out who's who. came back to my house. half the ****in wood was gone! i started watching the people come back and take my house... i then went into rage mode and placed TNT in every building. then I BLEW IT UP!
anyway, i think that you should either try to stop them from taking the wood or just post a warning thing on the first post above the download that warns us... because now i have to start a new world and build some castle ****...
