Are you sure, Shin? It's been working fine with me the entire time.. I even spent most of my nights held up within the village's trading post.
I've tested for over an hour. By process of elimination it was safe for me to conclude that somnia would not load with millenaire. Maybe you have a newer version of somnia than I? I should continue trying this agin for myself and see what the problem truly is.
I'd hate to seem like I'm telling you what to do, but maybe the addition of a "Barracks" building would be great.
For example, it would contain a few "soldiers" that would kill nearby hostile mobs (and you, if you attack), and where you could also buy armor and weapons.
This seems to have problems with Humans+ D: the humans end up killing all the villagers are you able to stop that from ahppening or maybe you could just make it that whenever they die they respawn at thier house instantly? I also get the glitch with the undead villagers and the smoke.

Sand is WAY better then a diamond sword. What's better than diamond? Nothing.

Hmm.. This corrupted my mapfile after a bit, It worked fine for a bit then all of a sudden my 2.8GHz X4, 1gig VRAM computer was reduced to 1FPS for this savefile...Bug fix please?
This mod is great, and I have a few ideas to improve it. Mostly new villigers.
Guard: The Guard stays in town a defends it from mobs and player's (if they attack the town) maybe two types, and archer and a swordsman
Smith: Crafts tools for the villagers using materials from a mine that the town builds(I'll talk about it below)
Thief: Steals your deniars and items if you wander the town at night. Maybe can sneak and turn invisible or blend into the shadows.
Miner: Has a mine that he builds and will dig down and will mine stone and ores
Mayor: Leads the town
Tailor: Makes cloth clothing
Ok, now some special items...
Ale: Heals 1 more heart than cider but makes you're movement slower and you stagger side to side when you drink more than one in a day
Clothes: add no defense but look cool. You can also make them using colored cloth instead of leather or other materials

But as stated, when pathing becomes a problem, FPS drops massively, and this can persist at times. ((litterally 1-2 FPS even though i have 4 gigs of ram, and can run Crysis 2 on nearly highest settings))
I cant wait to see this updated, but if you would like my input ((though it may not be the best)), You should add "Pathing Blocks". Stone tiles with little arrows on the boarders ((so you can tell them apart from regular stone)). The villagers are more likely to take these paths when moving, wont stray far from them ((maybe on 6 blocks away from nearest pathing block at a most?)). This way, you can create artificial roads, and keep everyone in a smaller, localized area.
i dont know if thats possible, but it would be really nice, help cut down on the pathing issues, and keep the towns a little more controlled.

Are you playing 0.1.2? Villagers should respawn in that one, and the "smoke" glitch should be fixed.

Yeah, I know - when parking breaks down the game crawls. I think I'll "cheat" and allows villagers to jump to their destinations if no path can be found. No other way I can think of to handle tough geography.

Either they are busy building something else or they can't find space for it. Are you in a very hilly area?

New ones only. Old ones won't respawn already-dead villagers and will have issues with their builds - they might start making existing buildings again.

So there was a farmer building, but then i saw they placed a sign saying they were going to build some type of lumberman place
So i gave them enough resources so they could build it, looks like the wife, was building the building, but now half of the farmers build is missing lol

It seems that my little village is building all the upgrades to the houses and town hall but not the bakery and tavern. I have provided all the wood and glass they need and most of the cobblestone. Is them stalling development on processing buildings normal?

However, it's been getting tempting lately to put together a modpack that includes CustomNPCs, so I could definitely work in something along the same themes in the modpack's quests. Feel free to give suggestions of mods that promote an experience which minimizes mining grind in favor of exploration. I'll likely have to include Grimorie of Gaia to provide good models (No I'm not gonna directly change the default mob models)
The build priorities are a little odd right now. I'm planning to work on that soon. All I can advise is to stop giving them cooblestone for now, that way they won't be able to do cobblestone-based buildings and will get around to making the bakery and tavern sooner. In any cases it only takes a couple of hours for them to build everything if they have the resources.

Thanks, also I found 2 cobble in one of the chests in town hall that I could take. Why were they there and not with the other cobblestone?

However, it's been getting tempting lately to put together a modpack that includes CustomNPCs, so I could definitely work in something along the same themes in the modpack's quests. Feel free to give suggestions of mods that promote an experience which minimizes mining grind in favor of exploration. I'll likely have to include Grimorie of Gaia to provide good models (No I'm not gonna directly change the default mob models)
In one of the large chest? They put stuff there when the main one is full. You shouldn't be able to take items from them though, odd.
