Source code for the mod library. Good luck, and thanks for looking at the GC issue as well.
Thank you, I cannot believe I haven't found that repository myself. Reviewing the code I have to admit I cannot find any evidence or reason why the relevant classpath is modified only when this micdoodlecore is also present. Maybe it has something to do with how the ASM stuff is handled by FML. This is revealing to be a more and more tricky issue to debug.
I have no news about the GC problem yet. Sorry.

I am not actively playing MC or monitoring forges progress. If there is a crucial update for Forge and the mod needs an update, let me know and I will try to get you one. Else there might be an unnecessary delay.
Add a custom mumble installer specially made for MumbleLink, easy installation ! That could be amazing, but very hard (i think) =)
Thanks for your feedback. Your suggestion is one of the first things I have considered after making this mod. While I believe it is possible these installers and setups are (still) beyond my skill set. Even though I am not working on it I have not rejected this and that idea keeps popping up into my mind on almost every occasion. Last thoughts revealed that shipping a stand-alone client could work if I manage to setup a decent mumble config file.
(Something i think it's impossible) : Add a speakers icon belowName the guy speaking !
(i think it's impossible to) : Add a mouth movement !! Amazinggngngngngn
I love this mod ! I never played so long before i installed it
These to points have been brought up before but unfortunately MumbleLink uses (due to the way Mumble works) a one-way communication. This means that there is no way for the mod and thus the game to know what is going on in the Mumble-Client (i.e. if someone or who is speaking right now). This will require Mumble to do the first move and expose information for other programs to use.
Suggestion: make an radio mode, where players can hold a key to everybody hear at any distance (if possible, add radio effect)
Thie radio mode key is a Mumble setting and already possible (see Advanced Mumble Configuration or a more extensive guide on how to set it up).
The radio effect has already been suggested: not possible unless Mumble itself changes the way it does the linking.

I installed this and is it a problem if I can't uncheck the box that says while other users talk in output? But it worked pretty well but when I wasn't in the same server as a friend it would glitch out and the shout feature wouldn't work! When we would be in different sg serves it would glitch out and make crazy loud static noises, is this not ment to work when your not on the same server? Cause I want it to still work like regular mumble it just turns on positional audio when on the same server, I'm on mac
Has there been any progress on the Micdoodle Core compatibility issue?
No, unfortunately I have not resolved the problem. However since I was able to have a look at the sources of micdoodlecore I can say that I am extremely puzzled since I have not found anything that indicates why this is happening in conjunction with micdoodlecore. It doesn't seem to touch the relevant java sections. I am thinking that it might either be a JNA problem or even something with FML's ASM magic.
Either way this could also become obsolete as I am going to switch to BridJ because JNA went/is going commercial. BridJ has a completely different library loading implementation and chances are good that the transition can fix this.
The reason why I have not yet transitioned to BridJ is because the native library project currently has no binary for MAC OSX. If I'd transition now I would practically exclude all the Apple users.
No. I have no idea what LiteLoader is and I am not going to support anything else than Forge. (However without even knowing what it is I imagine that the fact that this is a Forge mod means MumbleLink probably already works with LiteLoader you just haven't found out how to get it to work )

If you are on different minecraft servers I suggest you turn off the Link-Plugin. (Note, there is also a Hotkey feature that you can bind which unlinks all plugins that would work too).
The attenuation setting "while other users talk" means that your applications like Mincraft or iTunes will be quieter as soon as someone is speaking. This might also happen when someone is speaking but he is too far for you to hear. Then your Minecraft sound will go quieter for seemingly no reason (but actually you are just not hearing the one speaking).
I do not know what an sg server is so I have no idea what that could relate to. But loudness and static noises are no feature of this mod (or Mumble).
To be quite frank, no, this plugin is not meant to work with multiple Minecraft servers or even worlds (i.e. nether, overworld, etc). Right now this plugin always assumes that if there are people playing Minecraft in a Mumble channel, then they all are on the same Minecraft server and need to hear each other positionally.
However that is where the API comes in handy. We could write a plugin that, depending on which server you are on, links you or not (would have to implement ContextManipulator). But hold your horses, this has a drawback: Mumble only allows us to hear people full audio when they are not linked... so instead of everyone in a channel hearing only the relevant people that are on the same server it all becomes a big mess where everyone on the other Minecraft server is unlinked for you and thus it feels as if they were constantly shouting at you. So bug the mumble devs to finally fix this and vote on the feature request!
Another way to solve this is - as previously discussed - an addon for this mod (would have to implement IdentityManipulator) that works in conjunction with a manager like MuMo to switch people on the Mumble-Server into designated channels.
Is ts3 support something you wan't to look into? 3d pos sounds i available in that too
I have already looked into it and found it to be too much work. But don't fret! I have something nice for you: CrossTalk is compatible with this mod (last I have tried it sound was a bit buggy but it is WIP and looking really promising. It makes use of Mumble's link plugin just like this mod here. So in theory it can actually be used with any game that natively supports mumble's positional audio

Just an addition to my last post: The weird noise and statics could also be a pure mumble problem regarding codecs. If the server is using a low bandwith codec the sound quality is dramatically worse - I think this can also happen if you have a different mumble client version versus the mumble server version - the codec negotiation might end up find a very low codec for you and/or your friends. Please test if this is still a problem when all of you have the newest mumble and are on an up-to-date server.
I see that on your to do list is revamp the mod and make it into a server plugin, which is a great idea. Is this going to be available soon? Or is it something you hope to do in the future? Just wondering

Sorry but that is in the distant future (unless we can push the mumble group to brush up libmumble so we can actually get custom embedded mumble clients and servers easily). I am currently busy with real life so I am kind of merely keeping this project alive by doing the fixes for the new versions.

Regarding Skype: HELL NO! Use a program that was meant for games
Well, in fact LiteLoader is a lightweight mod loader (hence the name ). It can work very well alone or alongside Forge, and it would be quite suited for your mod because it is designed for mods not affecting the game mechanics. I actually really like LiteLoader (it's fast, stable, updates are quick, developer is friendly...), even though you don't support it, you may want to take a look at it: www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1290155#c1.
Alright, I had a look at LiteLoader [LL]. It seems like it provides exactly what this mod needs (basically only a tick event). Providing a hybrid Forge/LiteLoader version is probably not that problematic regarding the code. The real challenge is to integrate this into the build tool (forge gradle [FG]). This tool has shortened the release time by a significant amount so I would want a the LL version to integrate seemlessly into that.
Fortunately: AbrarSayed already experimented and has an example mod that works with FG and LL. So I'll put this on the agenda now. Unfortunately: There is still some effort needed to implement all this and I have very little time right now. So don't expect anything right away.
I've been attempting to use the mod on an iMac, but the game has crashed each time I try to launch it. I have included the error report below.
