If I were you, I would go to the config for this mod, and change every block id except the portal gun (which is an item anyway I think) to 0. This SHOULD get rid of the other blocks that you don't want.

Tried that -- turns out there's too many "terrain sprite indexes" or something, what with the records and everything. JUST WANT ONE WORKING PORTALGUN lol.

I dont know if the creator is already aware of this, but the mod is not compatible with forge v1.2.3
I tried a server with only this mod and works, but as soon as I install forge 1.2.3, it stops working with this error in the server console.

Umm, i think i found a bug, i was using the portal spawners with redpower 2, with the wireless remote, and now, when i place a portal, and the another portal, they dissapear instantly. I cant walk through them anymore without teleporting. How do i fix this?

No crash, no errors. The portals simply fizzle away and I cannot use them. Sucks when you're really far from home :sad.gif:
Hmm I dont know if this is intentional or not, but an Active Watch of Flowing Time from the EE mod REALLY screws up the formation of portals especially over a distance.
I'm having a very strange problem but only in survival mode. When ever i place a blue portal my orange is removed and vice-verse. The portals also disappear when I touch them. Please help.

O.K., so I'm a newbie trying to install you most amazing mod on my new server. I put ModLoaderMP's files in my minecraft_server.jar. I run my minecraft_server. I'm completely sure I have done this right, because I'm an accomplished modder in SSP.
Now, I should have a config file for your mod, so that I can customize the lot of stuff, right?
WRONG. I can find no config file of this sort anywhere in the spot I'm putting all my Server-side stuff. Looked under Config, looked under Mods, looked in the main folder, looked in the jar. Nada. So, what happened?
I'm using Vanilla Minecraft, btw.
If anyone can help, it is much appreciated, because there are a bunch of default settings with PortalGun mod that I like to change!

Now this is really getting on my nerves . I try to connect to my server to test the mod. I get the flipping *Internal exception: java.somethingOrOther blahblahblah bad packet ID 230* error. I installed the mod on Client, because I read that's what you have to do. Still no dice. I reinstalled it again, ran the Java, still nothing. More *******ing packet 230 errors. WHAT DO!?!?!?!?!? I've followed the Installation Instructions to a T, only installed MLMP and this, and just more errors.
*Whimers* If anyone can help me, I love you forever. Because I REEEALLY want to get this working.

Finally: to anyone complaining about Portals fizzling on contact, use one of the Co-op guns, or the Bacon Gun. They'll function well enough; they may crash too, after a while, but by then the original may be working again. SEARCH ME as to why, but it does work. Just keep alternating and they'll keep functioning.

This mod is messed up ..the portal gun just works for the first 15 mins and then it starts messing up just like other people said.Dont even bother installing this till it get fixed

for gels i think just add this mod into the portalgun mod (after making it 1.0.0 compatible of course)
