I am a BIG fan of this mod and I would like to know when you will be fixing the fizzlers, lasers, emancipation grills etc. I know what it says on your blog but its been quite a while now and I would like to reqeust them to be added back in. I know modding is hard and all because i struggled myself. If you can release maybe 1.8 version with the at least the lasers, fizzlers etc, It would be greatly appreciated and i will donate to help you out when i can!
I must know: when/why was the see through portals feature removed? I can't find it in the configs for 1.6.4 or 1.7.10. Will it be readded in 1.8 (assuming the mod's next release is actually in 1.8)?

I want this mod for minecraft 1.5.2 and 1.8.8. I also want a video on how to install it properly. I also don't want to have to have UtilChun to play the mod because of 2 reasons: 1. It's something extra to download 2. I think it should be more simple and not require much work. I also think the mod should have its own installer in-case people don't move the files correctly. (I also think it should be in separate titles weather it has Portal 1 contents or Portal 2 and it should have the wavy emancipation grid texture and a laser grid for the Portal 2 one).

Please understand that mod development is not easy. My understanding of how iChun has created his mod (and I am not affiliated with them in any way) would be that iChun util contains all of the commonly used methods that all of the mods would use. This might be an extra download but it is a requirement, and it makes mod development that little bit easier. Installation for 1.8.8 is not possible at the moment, in the change from 1.7.10 to 1.8 there was major changes to how minecraft mod development worked, it is not as simple as just recompiling the sources for 1.8.8. Code needs to be rewritten.
So at the moment you can only have the Portal Gun mod on minecraft version up to 1.7.10
If you are using forge (which is required for this mod) then installing mods is as simple as dropping the mod into the mods folder after forge is installed. The instructions for installing forge can be found with a simple google search

I am a BIG fan of this mod and I would like to know when you will be fixing the fizzlers, lasers, emancipation grills etc. I know what it says on your blog but its been quite a while now and I would like to reqeust them to be added back in. I know modding is hard and all because i struggled myself. If you can release maybe 1.8 version with the at least the lasers, fizzlers etc, It would be greatly appreciated and i will donate to help you out when i can!

I must know: when/why was the see through portals feature removed? I can't find it in the configs for 1.6.4 or 1.7.10. Will it be readded in 1.8 (assuming the mod's next release is actually in 1.8)?

Its that you are in 1.8 and the mod is in 1.7.10 thats why go to forge.com and get forge 1.7.10 then see if it works.
I want this mod for minecraft 1.5.2 and 1.8.8. I also want a video on how to install it properly. I also don't want to have to have UtilChun to play the mod because of 2 reasons: 1. It's something extra to download 2. I think it should be more simple and not require much work. I also think the mod should have its own installer in-case people don't move the files correctly. (I also think it should be in separate titles weather it has Portal 1 contents or Portal 2 and it should have the wavy emancipation grid texture and a laser grid for the Portal 2 one).
This is also an issue with MCA (Minecraft Comes Alive) not Portal Gun (Although portal gun is not even listed there only iChun Util).
Is the major give away of this.

Please understand that mod development is not easy. My understanding of how iChun has created his mod (and I am not affiliated with them in any way) would be that iChun util contains all of the commonly used methods that all of the mods would use. This might be an extra download but it is a requirement, and it makes mod development that little bit easier. Installation for 1.8.8 is not possible at the moment, in the change from 1.7.10 to 1.8 there was major changes to how minecraft mod development worked, it is not as simple as just recompiling the sources for 1.8.8. Code needs to be rewritten.
So at the moment you can only have the Portal Gun mod on minecraft version up to 1.7.10
If you are using forge (which is required for this mod) then installing mods is as simple as dropping the mod into the mods folder after forge is installed. The instructions for installing forge can be found with a simple google search
