Redstone and Obsidian fix. Look at your amount of redstone, now back to me, now back to the redstone. Sadly, you don't mine redstone. I don't blame you, it takes bloody forever to break the thing! Thankfully I made this mod to fix that problem! Redstone is now the same strength as iron and will no longer be the only blocks left in your mine! Included in this is another sweet fix. The obsidian fix will make obsidian amazingly faster to mine, meaning you can now actually build your sweet creeper temple out of obsidian!
Block drops block!
What this mod does is quite simple. It makes glass drop glass, ice drop ice,Bookshelves drop bookshelves and glowstone drop glowstone!
3. Right click the minecraft.jar and open it with a program like WinRar. Drag all of the .class items from the mod folder into the jar. If it asks to replace, accept.
The "Redstone and Obsidian" fix doesn't work, at least on obsidian. Haven't tried the redstone yet.
Checking the decompiled code seems to me that you altered the blocks' explosion resistance, not their hardness ratings (which affects mining rates). However redstone takes longer to mine despite having the same hardness rating as other ores. Hmm...
Also, make it so that glowstone drops 9 glowstone dust so that recipes using glowdust can still be used (that is, unless a glowstone backwards generates 9 glowstone dust... not sure on that one.)
And make sure you tell people that the explosion resistance was altered. A cannon crafter may get an unpleasant surprise if he uses obsidian.
Sadly, the glass drop fix part of this mod doesn't work with ChocolateySyrup's stained glass mod. Which is a shame, they're both great mods. I was wondering if you could make it compatible with Chocolate's mod, if not, that's cool. Just an inquiry. If I install yours first, then stained glass, the stained glass doesn't drop, just breaks. If I do it in reverse, it doesn't stain the glass. If it's too much work, then don't worry about it, I can live without glass dropping blocks. I have since up until now.

I only stopped work on it due to the pittance of 20 downloads it received. :smile.gif: If anyone actually wants this mod, it will be super duper easy for me to make it ML compatible and 1.4.

Perhaps you packaged the wrong version of the file? (not saying this is actually the case; just speculating)
