No Big Trees
This mod disables the generation of big trees, and allows only the smaller, easier to cut down trees to be spawned.
This mod, possibly my best yet, creates Uncompressed worlds. Keep in mind, while using it, a normal 1.15mB world is about 25mB with this mod. If you share save files alot, and don't have the best internet connection, this mod isn't for you. How it works is, instead of Minecraft creating a world and saving it in a GZIP format, it saves it in an uncompressed format. It generates everything normally, except it doesn't have to compress and uncompress worlds everytime you load or save them. I am currently working on a converter that re/decompresses worlds for when this mod isn't compatible with the current version of minecraft.
My question is: Once I install Uncompressed Worlds, and Minecraft is updated to 1.7, will I be unable to play my game until Uncompressed Worlds is updated too? Or does it only need to be current when you start a new save file?

1. Yes.
2. Not sure what you're trying to ask here.
Simply put, some mods only need to be active when the level is created, like "Grass Spawn" after which you don't need to have it active to play. Was only wondering if that is the case here. Your answer of Q1 answered it. thanks for the prompt response.
You'll have to get it from Zombe's Mod Pack
Classic Building
what's so good about uncompressed worlds?
It allows for faster chunk loading, and an increase, if any, in FPS
What? He says he won't say his name cuz it's private and you say ********?
No, he/she said for security concerns, not because it was private.
Make sure you deleted your META-INF file and if that dosent work close minecraft find the mincraft folder delete the bin folder and it should work
My Favorite Texture Pack is OVO's Rustic Pack:
