Ok. So I'm going to use up my time today on finding out how to fix this problem. The weird thing here is, Just adding your mod in my game don't do anything to it. To make sure, I even used in-game inventory editor, and the things from your mod are not even listed. So I tried using a fresh minecraft.jar installed modloader and farming mod. Obviously, it works. Then I changed it back to my normal minecraft.jar, put in farmcraft, It crashes. That was why I was hoping you could find out the problem by reading the error report. I tried pumpkin and watermelons, too. Then installed that Inventory Editor, still no watermelons. I'll update this post later after several tries. Wish me luck. ;p
Almost forgot, could you please list the Ids? That would be most helpful. Thanks again.
*EDIT
Mods I Tried With This Mod:
* Zan's Mini Map
* Minerals! r17
* Nandonalt's Mods:
** Coral Reef mod
** Dairy mod
** Chocolate mod
** Chisel mod
** Ice Maker mod
** Pies mod
* Plastic Craft(I saw what you mean. I had to change the microwave from 110 to 118)
*Xie's mods:
** Farming mod(just added that for display ;p)
** Hunger mod
** Food Stacking
I hope that fixed it. I'm going to add the rest of my mods.\
**EDIT
LOL. The game black screened when I added hunger mod.

The game worked before putting hunger mod. Does this mean its not compatible?
***EDIT
Ok. So this is probably the last edit I'll ever do on this post. I downloaded the full package pack and it works. Thanks.
I can't find any watermelons. What is the ID for the watermelon block?
Should be blockIDbase+3, so 113 by default. Sorry, I should've included that in the OP.

EDIT: Could i get a Apple tree and Watermelon only version? :biggrin.gif:
No :tongue.gif: Though the apple tree only and watermelon only versions should work together. If they don't let me know and I'll fix it.

I did have a few questions, though:
*snip*
seedTillChance affects only random seeds from anywhere. The seeds you get from tilling near a plant is separate, and there's a radius, I think its about 3 blocks and the chance is 1 in 5. Consequently, that's the chance of getting random seed anywhere with a diamond hoe - for those l33t late-game farmers :smile.gif:

...i dont know how to get the watermelon slices...
You *should* be able to craft one watermelon into 4 watermelon slices. I'll check to see why that might be broken.

Is there a way to make watermelons and pumpkins reliably reproductive? Or that'd be overpowered?
Here's a tip: save one watermelon and one pumpkin for seeds only. If you plonk one down on some grass and till around it (3 squares in every direction) you should be able to get at least a couple of seeds. If not, take it to another patch of grass :tongue.gif:
Also watermelon pieces have a 50% chance of yielding seeds when you nom them, so 1 watermelon = 4 slices = 2 seeds, they should be sustainable.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 117 is already occupied by BlockCycler@1397e5c when adding XieBlockSeedling@196e136
I noticed this while scouting around.
im trying to find out why Watermelon's ect arent working with fancypack.
I know its because the itemID is being used already. but im unsure if that could of made the modloader cease trying to load your Farming mod.
im also asking around in Syrups forum.
Thanks. I actually felt guilty for asking rather than working it out myself, so I'd just started racing around with a hoe and recording average drops. I'm glad you answered though, because I just came back from seeing Tool and I'm exhausted and far too OCD about these sort of things to leave it lying. Now I can go to bed.
*EDIT* It's not because of an itemID conflict. You can edit the itemIDs so they don't conflict, but you still end up with weirdness.
ah
back to looking around then. (it'd probably be better if i wasnt a complete noob at stuff like coding and seeing errors, but eh)
these two mods are amazing, so im going to try my best to help find the reason.
...
Could you tell me how to change the ID of the Cycler? i'd rather have the items available while im looking around.
Alright. Rather odd.
Dispite what (the helpful) Termy said, Changing the ID of the Cycler from Fancypack completely gave me the textures back from Farming, but im yet to see actual things spawning naturally from the pack, but then again i just logged back on.
Ive never had any crashing problems however, possibly because im using TFC's Mod Manager.
So I managed to get my mod working with FancyPack by doing this...
Get the latest version of my mod, and get Shockah's More Block IDs and set the base block ID for my stuff to 130 or 140. That should put it well above the range of the stuff in the Fancy Pack.
You should be good to go from a clean save file :smile.gif:
the mod just gives me black screen......
Where exactly are you supposed to put the files, i know class files go in .jar but how about the others? i have xie in mods, but i just get black screen.
Please reply!!! :smile.gif:
I am assuming you may over time make more then just melons and appletrees.
Or am I just asking for too much?
Either way, if this is all your doing, I guess I'll download it, but if your going to do more, I'll wait a bit :tongue.gif:
I may :happy.gif:
Adding extra fruit trees and crops is just a matter of making the textures, TBH. Though I already admitted I suck at pixel art :tongue.gif: I was going to add animal husbandry, but Zhark has that under control :wink.gif: Was also thinking about doing something with splicing seeds together to make new crop varieties, not sure if that's going anywhere though lol
And I'm always open to suggestions.
OOH OOH OOH me has a suggestion, why not make rice, or maybe grape trees (yes i know grapes come from vines, but i think that would be a little bit difficult to code lol) that would be cool
The latest version works with Fancypack? Damn it, I have to go to work! I'll try it out later, but this sounds promising. Thanks for your efforts.
Well... hopefully :wink.gif:
It worked for me when I used Shockah's More Block IDs and set my base block IDs above the native range. If you've already got save files with blocks and items in them it may be more difficult, but see how you go :tongue.gif:

1. Install the latest version of ModLoader.
2. Copy ALL of the files from the zip into your minecraft.jar, including the Xie folder.
3. Delete the META-INF folder in your minecraft.jar
Hey, I hate to be picky, but do you think you could post a copy with just food stacking/farming, no hunger added? My mods list is really sensitive, and for some reason, when I install the standalone farming and food stacking mods, I black screen (food stacking does it, not farming, checked with both individually) but when I used the combo food stacking/hunger/farming package, it all works with my other mods. Except.. I don't want hunger, and I'd really like your balanced food stacking O.o

I can only suggest that you change the difficulty setting for it to 1 in .minecraft\mods\hunger. That won't really remove it, but hey...
Check it out.
