Is there a limit to how big schematics can be when you make them and how do I find them and load them from singleplayer to multiplayer servers?
in Single player schematics are here , %USER%\[NAME]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\conf\schematics\
On a server , Spigot_Server\plugins\WorldEdit\schematics\
commands
//schematic list
//schematic load NAME
//schematic save NAME
assync worldedit plugin should be able to handle large schematics on server . In SP limited by memory
to avoid lag crashes etc.. use MCEdit offine to edit a map , then upload chunks to server .
Farwand still doesn't work (left click from far) with the Forge mod both on single player or server. I used the WorldEdit bukkit plugin and it works perfectly. Can't figure out what's wrong. :/
I never played 1.9.4 but I guarantee with 1.8.0, 1.9.0, and 1.10.2 //setbiome works. It does not change the blocks or items... i think just the weather.
I'm having trouble on 1.8.9 with changing biome. So I'm creating a custom map, and for ease I started with a Deep Ocean flat world. I've created a landmass which I want to be a forest biome. I then stacked blocks in the corner to the build limit and selected and then selected the lowest points past the edges (to encompass all the island area) and used "//setbiome forest" get the message telling me xxxxxxx columns have changed and that I may need to exit out.
When I re enter the world small segments of my selection has changed but is still 90% deep ocean, I then selected the area again and ran the command multiple times still not getting any further. Can anyone help me with this?
I'm surprised it worked at all (other than weather). When you select //pos1 and //pos2 they are both X, Y, and Z positions.
Try what you did again with //expand ?#OfBlocks u (up). If only the blocks between the elevations you selected changed you need to expand your selection upwards. If you want areas below your lowest elevation (Y) selection //expand ?#ofBlocks d (down).
You can also //expand 75 50 u too, that is the Y elevation of your selected blocks expanded 75 up and 50 down.

//pos1 or //hpos1 are "X" east/west, "Y" height above bedrock, and "Z" north/south (survival, I don't do creative).
//pos2 or //hpos2 are again "X" east/west, "Y" height above bedrock, and "Z" north/south.
if your pos1 Y axis is 2 and your pos2 Y axis is 4 only 3 rows of blocks (2, 3, and 4), of Y axis are selected for change.
Look also at "/tool tree" and "/tool". There is a downloadable PDF WE Command List in my signature. It only plants trees on certain blocks. There are many links (blue) to the WE site... It may have more information.
In survival //setbiome has never done anything more than change the weather.
I can't help you further... Post a bug report with sk89q.
Lou
I forgot... at one time WE-Forge /tree did not work (survival, creative not tried)... sk89q patched it, but I'm not certain it ever got fully added.
The patch did not allow //undo, again WE-Forge, be careful.
Okay, not sure if I'm somehow doing something wrong or if it's a bug. I'm playing 1.10.2 with worldedit version 6.1.4 and forge 12.18.3.2202 through the curse launcher. I am on a flat world, trying to copy and paste a build. It's a build that already existed in that flat world, I just wanted to move it. I made my selections, stood right in front of the build on the ground when I saved, yet when I copy then paste it, it's literally below the bedrock in the flat world rather than in front of me. Well, parts of it anyway. But it's not showing up on the surface. I know the copy/paste is relative to player position, and I copy and paste accordingly, so I don't know why it's pasting below the ground. I never had this issue in 1.7.10 when I used worldedit before. Anyone have an idea what's happening?
Doesn't seem to matter. I tried a default world. Same thing. My builds keep being pasted far below me no matter what type of world I'm in or where I stand when copy/pasting a build. All the other commands work fine. //replace, //rotate. It's just the pasting that's giving me problems. I checked a tutorial. I am doing everything right, so I don't know why this is.
EDIT. I think it's a mod conflict. I've removed ALL the mods I had installed and now it's copy/pasting the way it should. Guess I'll have to add each mod back in at a time and see which one is causing the trouble.

Hey.uh, i think worldedit is screwing up the commands such as /help,anyone help?
Download the PDF command list in my signature. That should help. Both 1.8 and 1.9 (WE-Forge) work correctly on my machine.

I thought I had the latest versions of both, but that was indeed the problem. Thank you for your help!

Try updating your Forge http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/1.9.4-12.17.0.1990/forge-1.9.4-12.17.0.1990-installer-win.exe
and your Java 8 update 102 . Something in your install is missing or outdated , the newer builds are compiled against newer Forge and Java code

If a question, worldedit-forge for the last couple of versions at least.

I don't flat world but...
I can //rotate ###... //paste to change orientation....
I can also place blocks, then get on top of them to increase my elevation and raise the //paste point, can't you?
Lou
I don't have the same problem on my not flat 1.10.2 worlds.

World edit on single player crashes?
Until someone ports this legendary mod I am leaving the minecraft scene. http://www.cosc.canterbury.ac.nz/greg.ewing/minecraft/mods/ArchitectureCraft/#mozTocId598776 I have watched too many legendary mods die and carpenters blocks sudden fallout out of mainstream made me cry. I realize the source is messy but some of the best mods from 1.6.4 and 1.7.10 were.
