Hey, I'm having a bit of a problem with the tree gen. No matter what tree type/density/radius I use, no trees appear, and with the /tree regular command it says "A tree can't go there." Any suggestions?
Hmm, nothing's working for me. I have SSP Commands installed correctly since I've been using it for a while. I added the jar file provided in the WorldEdit download to the minecraft.jar folder. SSP Commands still works but when I try to put in World Edit commands (using the //hcyl glass 5 1 example from the wiki page and my own varieties), I'm getting errors saying that "WorldEdit command does not exist." I've also tries using /// instead of // after reading comments in the thread and it still isn't working.
My question is whether you're supposed to install WorldEdit first THEN SSP Commands?
Hi! Great mod! love it its easy to use and works great. Would be great if you could have more geometric shapes like arch and half sphere pyramid and diamond shape. Somehow i cant get the draw javascript to work it gets an error at line 85. :\
How i would be able to do tunnels with stack, if i cant select air blocks?
Use //expand # up so you can just select the ground.

The SSP version of WorldEdit doesn't support mob spawner data (go bother sino about that). If it did though, you could just //set mobspawner|Squid.

I might add some of those. I've been quite slow at adding shape generators in the past 6 or so months, so we'll see.
What error do you get?

You might be able to make it use your first selection position by using /toggleplace.

Was just trying to create some long stretches of minecart track using stack.
The section I stacked has an auto-resetting booster - the kind than goes up a step and turns back round on itself - only the new stacked sections, the last turn is straightened so the booster cart would just get spat off the track.
In an effort to overcome this, I installed Booster mod (viewtopic.php?f=25&t=162515), however, these pieces of track are missing in the stacked sections.
Seems that WE is made for this kind of thing, hope you can look into fixing it.
WorldEdit has an internal block filter, since putting an invalid ID will break that chunk and crash your client. Of course, this doesn't apply so much in SSP since people add modded blocks, so I'll see what I can do.
i don't know if you have seen AdventureCraft but i was wondering if you had plans to/like the idea of the selection grid that he has going when editing parts of the map. i think this would be an awesome addition to an already awesome mod, (the number of times i forget where i selected when editing large areas) something like that would be really useful

Also, I almost crashed my game doing /removenear stone 150
When I got back, Humongous lag + landscape all gone.
It removed 4.6M+ stone

the instructions on how to get this are kind of god awful. I got SSP commands working just fine, but this whole section of that mod does not work. I looked at the link for how to install it, and it just said you need to have downloaded SSP commands and then you can configure world edit, and there was another link to that, and that wasnt so helpful.

I am trying to make a chest with items, but there is no items when it creates.

I then find the block and setItems then replace it:
block.setItems(items);
session.setBlock(pos, block);
Copy the sea with //copy, then save as a schematic.
Go to world2 and load the schematic, then paste the sea with //paste.
This mod helps me more than the actual SPC mod does.
Someone else would have to do it, as I don't really have the time to.
