Does this mod still work for the current minecraft? How do I install it? Sorry for the questions I played minecraft when it was in beta and it was super easy to install mods.
like normal right into the .jar but not sure if you still need to delete metainf but if using forge i think it can go into the mods folder unless its 1.8
when it was in beta and it was super easy to install mods.
imo no it was basicly impossible to install mods in beta and my friend had to for me and even when he did it there was only like 1% chance it would work... this was WITHOUT attempting to use it with modloader... and you had to delete metainf start the game close the game backup if didnt crash if crashed reset it add modloader start the game close the game backup if it didnt crash but if it did use backup from before then add tmi start the game and play if it didnt crash and if it did use working modloader backup and redo until it works.... now all you need is to shove into the .jar or if using forge into the mods folder and auto instal forge as its a more stable modloader... but if you find its easier in beta thats k cause me and my friend didnt use internet cause: some people would swear, and we would get in trouble, now we do not care.... yes i just spoke in #Haiku and me and him mightve been messing it up horribly... cause... i just realised i went room to couch to room lol... but the tuToriel was longer then time i had and idt i found it again but thats when i learned you could delete metainf then drag the tmi files into it and done but i still needed modloader for infinite items when i did shift clicking on them... but if i needed modloader i cheated with auto installers lol

Everyone has O.C.D. and A.D.H.D. and Autism and so on its just a matter of how much that makes people say you have it...
I have all 3 where people will say i have them... people hate on me for it...
Heres more accurate explanations of each:
O.C.D. makes you hate not symmetrical things if you have alot and youll tend to repeat things in a specific pattern and hate slight change...
A.D.H.D. makes you be extremely into one specific thing while also connecting things like a cat to radiation...
Autism is literally a label that people use as insults to people who are really good at math and science related things and love those things...
NEI hasn't been updated either, last I checked. I think it also requires Forge.
I tried Just Enough Items, but it requires Forge and that hoses up a lot of other things. I then tried Forever Enough Items, but that requires JEI to be installed first, and is buggy as hell -- in fact, I never got it to work.
Currently, there is no simple non-Forge replacement for TMI, alas. For people like me -- who like to play in Survival mode but have the materials on hand as if it were Creative -- the only solution is to avoid updating past 1.8.0, which is frustrating. Ultimately, it's Mojang's fault for treating the Modding community as pariahs, and making their lives so miserable.
Just spoke with Wotblitz and he's working on a 1.10 update to TMI (he's effectively taken over this mod now.) I'm offering him some cash to keep him excited about the project, so let's keep our fingers crossed.
I'm told his 1.8 version works with 1.10, too, but haven't tested it yet. His downloads are offline now anyway, pending the new release.
I don't know the courtesy protocols for when someone takes over a dead mod, so hopefully I'm not breaking any weird rules by mentioning this. But it's not like Marglyph is going to pop up any time soon and protest.
I couldn't get it to work no matter what, and the devs were no help, unfortunately.
I had issues getting it to work in cheat mode myself. I had to edit the FEI file in the config folder. I changed the permissions from MODERATOR to USER (there were several) to get the mod to function properly. Hope this helps.

If you use Liteloader there is a basic liteloader mod called Voxel Get. It is just that though.

I miss TMI, JEI doesn't quite make the cut.
I miss the enchanting, saves, and enabling of cheats
I'm not saying to update I just came across this mod again and I miss it

FEI doesn't seem to like my computer for some reason

If you are referring to Liteloader it supports up to 1.10.2. I'm using it right now. All builds can be found on Jenkins here.
As for VoxelGet I thought it was updated; my bad.
I know about liteloader and I am using it.

does the 1.8 version work for 1.8.9?
i've tried using it in a 1.8.9 game but it doesn't seem to work.
The 1.8 only works for 1.8.0, nothing higher.
Pls make new version TMI
