Funny that I should stumble upon this thread, Lumilieska was actually talking to me about you and your modding skills a while ago, quite an amazing job if these are your first mods, I must say. Do you happen to have previous experience with Java?

So... the image for the slime mod showed a slime on the surface. Does the slime mod have the old algorithm (any light level, bottom 16 layers, specified chunks only) or do slimes just spawn anywhere?
if the difficulty settings is above peaceful they spawn(wen you change back to peaceful they still stay ill fix that) also if and they spawn anywhere above 16
(Really confusing wording, guessing you mean that slimes spawn above peaceful anywhere it's dark)
Awww I want it to be like in alpha, not another creature at night. Keep the system like it is, but make the random chunks way more common, like this:
(that plus it having to be at the bottom 16 floors)
I like it when it's hard and more exciting to find slimes. If you do this, you win a cookie.
Because I have a huge slime spawning room, and I haven't seen a single slime yet.
I don't want slimes to be another monster you'll find at night. It would even make me want to kill small slimes if they annoyed me.

read the main page the explanation is way better also they spawn day or night and they are a bit less common then on your image but wen you find them you normally find like 1 huge one to 10 medium ones.
Ill be happy to make alternate versions of it making spawning different and such. So just list some things you would like me to add. SO like how high they can spawn. How low and such. What blocks they can spawn on dirt stone wateva.

You open the Slime mod zip folder and then open your minecraft.jar(please tell me you no where that is) and drag the files inside the slime mod zip into minecraft.jar. Then you will see a folder inside minecraft.jar called META-INF delete that folder.
i figured out how to make them massive like 50 times bigger than normal but it lags like cr*p. I was thinking of implementing that into a new version of the slimes mod.
I remember notch testing out big monsters - Zombies that big, Its on youtube. Alpha version testing I think.
Also asked creeperDaReeper to put it on the onestopmodlist.
