Make sure you have a backup of your minecraft.jar file!
Open your minecraft.jar file with a program like WinRAR or 7zip.
Delete the META-INF folder from the archive.
Drag all the .class files into the open archive.
Run Minecraft.
Dispensers+ v10 (Beta 1.5_01)
Compatible with ModLoader.
Modifies dispensers to:
Drop boats and minecarts
Place (or shoot*) TNT
"Use" water/lava buckets
Drop contents when destroyed
Store minecarts** and boats on collision
* Dispensers will shoot TNT if they are placed on top of an iron block.
** Please note that any items contained in a cart will be dropped before the dispenser picks up the cart. Installation Instructions
If you use ModLoader make sure to install this mod last!
A note about the alt. version: Due to a bug in Minecraft, I had to shrink the dispenser's collision box in order to detect minecarts/boats colliding with the dispenser. Unfortunately, this can cause TNT to get stuck (see this post). If you plan to use this mod to make cannons, you'll need to download the alt. version instead of the normal one.

Sound Mod Enabler v6 (Beta 1.6.5/1.6.6)
Normally, if you make any changes to the files in the resources directory,
Minecraft will re-download the default sounds and overwrite your custom files.
This mod allows you to stop that from happening.
Please read the included readme for information on how to install and use the mod.
Optional Update Launcher (All Minecraft versions)
Tired of updates being forced on you? Well, this launcher gives you the option of updating Minecraft when you want to! If an update is available, you have the option to update normally or continue playing without the update. Instructions
Exactly the same as http://minecraft.net/download.jsp.
To be safe, you should also make a backup of your .minecraft/bin folder before running the launcher.
Downloads (These files are only launchers, they are not the full game.)
For testing purposes, you can download this version file and place it in your .minecraft/bin folder. This will make the launcher think there's an update available.
RespawnBeds Test Version (Beta 1.3_01)
This mod makes beds act as spawn points. When you die you will respawn at the nearest bed.
Some quick notes:
This is a test version. If you aren't interested in testing it, you'll probably want to wait until a stable version is released. Use at your own risk!
You must place your beds after installing this mod for respawning to work. Beds placed before this mod is installed must be rebuilt to act as a spawn point.
Due to how bed positions are saved ATM (in level.dat), if you uninstall this mod the next time you start Minecraft all bed spawn points will be lost.
The compass does not point to the nearest bed; it still points to your original spawn point.
I have to share a story about one of epinull's mods, the Sound Mod Enabler.
One time, while my sister was playing, she found a very large natural cavern. It was huge. By this time, I had changed one of the songs that play into Savatage's "Hall of the Mountain King." Right as she walked into the largest part of this cavern, that song started to play. Since it has no slow start up like Minecraft's original soundtrack, the sudden playing of the modded in song scared my sister. And considering that she was in a huge cavern connected to an equally huge cave system, I thought that the song was appropriate.

Haha, nice!
New version of Dispensers+ up. Dispensers can now "use" water and lava buckets. If the dispenser finds a water/lava bucket, it replaces the bucket with an empty one and drops the appropriate source block in front of it. If the dispenser has an empty bucket it will scoop up any source block directly in front of it.

Ooo nice, this means water and lava can be controlled by redstone =D nice work :wink.gif:
Wow, the Run without Update mod needs to be sent to Notch. Seriously.

You read my mind with the dispenser+ mod. I'm just glad I didn't have to post a request thread. Thanks!

Well, Notch mentioned making updates optional a while ago but he never got around to it I guess. It seems that we may be getting a better launcher soon though.
So it stops "pouring" water when you turn it off? Excellent work! I was disappointed when it didn't do this from the beginning.

Games that are still enjoyed thanks to modding-
Morrowind, Oblivion, Starcraft, Garrys Mod, Half-Life (And thus TF2, Portal, ectectect), ect.
Modability isn't just a word I made up, it's the line between Minecraft being a fad and a cult classic.
Has anyone else problems with the mediafire download for the Dispenser+ Mod. I would love to use it, but all i get is a 0kb .zip which can't be opened.
I don't think it's a problem on my side since i tried several other mediafire downloads and they all worked flawlessly.
Seems to work okay for me. Mediafire might have been having some trouble when you last tried. Try downloading it again from Mediafire, but if it still doesn't work you can use this direct link.

Only if it has an empty bucket, yeah. It's basically works just like buckets do.
These all look like some pretty cool mods, but does your custom sounds enabler add support for mp3s and other filetypes? It's no biggie for me if they can't, I've got a converter, but that would be totally convenient.
I'm about to run MC anyway and find out if they work, so if they do, maybe you should mention that in your first post, because that's a cool bit.

Automatic TNT cannons FTW.
Also, is the Opt. Update Launcher compatible with my minecraft.bat command prompt log thing? I'm sure you know what I'm referring to.

Our TNT will blot out the sun!
Yeah, that's on my todo list. What about minecraft.bat? The launcher should work the same as the default one.
Glad you like it. :smile.gif:
Thanks, simo.

I currently use simo's TNT Dispenser (modified slightly) because I love that feature, but I'd love to have your other benefits as well.

Okay, I'll look into it.
