EDIT: yeah..... this kind of crashes my minecraft...
Luckily i have a backup minecraft.jar so I can always replace the files =)
probably have an incompatible graphics card. I had to actually power down my computer and put in my unstable, high-power graphics card to use it. all it did was slow down render by 8x on my older one (which was known to support GLSL postprocessing).

That could not be it. My brother and I put this pc together and it's a 800 euro's Gaming rig with above average gaming pc's specs. I can tell you what graphics card i have but i don't think that's the problem.
I might just have done something wrong.
Looks amazing! Will try asap! To bad the whole thread is mostly lahwran bitching about patchers... I'll be better able to tell if said bitching is justified when I try it out however...
Notch has stated that he doesn't approve of moding, but doesn't hate it either.
I'm well aware that Notch is fine with modding. But he has very clearly stated that he doesn't want people distributing his code.

You are also distribting the .class files but inside a packager.
This statement is absolutely 100% incorrect. The only class files I'm distributing (outside of javassist) are 100% my own work. The patcher modifies the class files that are already on your computer.

PS: Please use CubeUpload for images, photobucket and tinypic is blocked on this internet connection.
Sounds like there's a problem with your internet connection.
Stop qqing about patchers and download the class files from someone else if you want.

Quick question, where do you put the files in the zip version?

There was even going to be a party for you. A big party. That all your friends were invited too. I invited your best friend the companion cube. Of course, he couldn't come because you murdered him. All your other friends couldn't come either, because you don't have any other friends. Because of how unlikeable you are. It says so right here in your personal file: UNLIKEABLE, liked by no one, a bitter, unlikeable loner, who's passing shall not be mourned, SHALL NOT BE MOURNED. That's exactly what it says. Very formal. Very official. It also says you were adopted, so thats funny too.
Hey, I too am having trouble with the zipped version of the mod. Using unmodified minecraft.jar, deleted the meta-inf, the replaced the class files. I get a black screen upon world generation, then minecraft stops responding. Windows 7 64 bit, and an ATI Radeon Mobile 5650 if that is my problem at all.

everything that isn't a solid block is fullbright:

also this breaks cloud/fog opacity on anything that isn't far render distance

Hmm . . . I'm not seeing the full-bright bug. The picture looks normal to me. At least, it looks like it does in the unmodified client.
I'll look into what's happening in that second set of images.
The third set of images looks like it does in the unmodified client to me.
Tell me if I'm not looking at what I'm supposed to be in those pictures.
Windows stuff almost done. Update with that and some GLSL optimizations tonight.
