It all depends on how you play the game, if you play Minecraft like a sandbox game then it shouldn't matter.

Great mod, maybe adding a 32 block reach for people who don't like seeing in the distance. Also, a suggestion, extending the range of swords by 1.5x or 2x because it would help greatly.

Clark, it seems the OP has updated his mod for Beta 1.1._02. Your error report shows you using minecraft version 1.0.2. Make sure your minecraft is up to date. Also you need to delete the META-INF folder if you haven't done so. Try deleting it and see if minecraft works.

Also, how about affecting mobs at a distance, too? Right now it seems to only affect blocks.

was compatible with the one hit block destroy which is great for big projects... the problem is... now it's not.

any chance you could put that kind of functionality into this mod? or have a version with it? I'd do it myself but I know next to nothing about java and coding in java.

brilliant work man, both mods are a godsend for the project im working on, the 32 extend mod is just perfect.

one tiny little request, which would make the instant block destroy mod perfect:

a key to toggle the instamine mode on/off

reason being: if i try to place a sign, it is immediately destroyed when I click on done. perhaps a tweak on the sign interface so the click on the done button doesnt pass through to the game and register as a hit?

And what if i only want it to be extended by one block?

+1 vote for a toggle on instant destruction
try and open a door- can be brutal!

also maybe have the instant destruction have NO drop? all that dirt floating there really makes me lag

I like Fast Build better.

I wanted to use the instant block destroy for one really big project I had since ultimate fist hasn't been updated and remove it, but It seems even using a clean minecraft.jar on the save can't get rid of instant block destroying =\

oops, I did more testing as I wrote this post and minecrafter seems to not be reverting the jar after closing minecraft.

ninja edit: I deleted my version file and re-downloaded a fresh minecraft.jar and ran mine crafter angain. now it's gone, I'd say noob mistake but that's never happened before nor have I heard of it happening.
