Also made some spawn decreasing tweaks to fit the higher spawnrates added in 1.5
4/9/11 Added more in-depth properties file thanks to _303 for sharing his properties source code.
Now you can edit spawnrates, health, and damage of every single mob (besides guards). The file is auto-generated.
Learn more on how to use the properties file in the "Bonus" section of this post.
The properties would be generated in .minecraft/mods/rpgmobs under the name of "rpgmobsettings.properties"

How To Use The Properties File
This mod automatically generates a properties file so that you can edit the mobs to your liking if you feel they are unbalanced or to completely turn off a mob.
Instructions on how to use it
Any mob name suffixed with "health" = Mobs Total Health
Any mob suffixed with "Strength" = Mobs Damage dealt to the player or hostile mob
Any mob name with no suffix/prefix = Mobs spawn weight. The spawn weight ranges from 0-12 from least commonly spawned to most commonly spawned. Change the weight to "0" to disable a mob from spawning.
global_spawnrate = total amount of mobs allowed in world

Hate to spoil your fun but i've just finished coding a Knight for my Mob Mod.
:sad.gif:
(sarcasm) Oh of course! Mr. High and mighty has made a version of this mod, so this is obsolete! (/sarcasm)
(rant) Yeah right. Get of your high horse. Yes I have read your "disclaimer" and this was Released on the following thread before today. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=103553
Regardless of who came up with it first, there is no reason to be like that.
Call me a troll or a hater if you want. Im just speaking my mind. (/rant)
I don't care what anybody says, you can not have to many mobs. Especially a giant variety of people roaming the infinite world. I would love to see your mobs the more knights the better and I like the idea of them attacking in groups when one is attacked, just like the pigmen. Great work
So I have the coding done for three new mobs but I wont be fixing them for Beta until MCP gets updated, on the other hand I have all the skins done :biggrin.gif: (thanks to Halfpixl). I will rename this to "Velvokay's RPG Mobs" once finished.
These surface dwarves have been chopping trees for lumber ever since they emerged from the caves and are too greedy to negotiate with you and will kill on sight.
-height = one head shorter than you
-spawn = night
-type = enemy
-hold = stone axe
-drop = 1-2 stone axes DOWNLOAD
*note* this mob doesnt support modloader or spawnlist YET
4/25/11 UPDATE: Compatibility fix for Minecraft version 1.5_01 thanks to Fesh0r for updating MCP all by himself.

The picture is too dark isn't it? Sorry I'll try to get a daytime view of it so you can see it better.
If yes then how do you avoid the inevitable wood shortage? o_o
Lol no I was just trying to come up with some cheap story for them, but it very much is possible in the future :wink.gif:
