I'm running ~25 mods on 1.2.3_04. My intention is to build a program for myself (I'm a programmer) so that I can easily switch back to 1.2.3_04 if I hate 1.2.6 because it's missing my favorite mod(s).
But then... I kindof ditched that reasoning.
I'm STILL coding the program, but now I'm doing it so that I can have two copies of 1.2.6 with separate mods (one for FancyPack, that non-compatible piece of eat-your-heart-out, spit-it-on-the-sidewalk and walk away in all its sexiness mod )... and one for the rest of the mods. :smile.gif:

Although couldn't you get a new .jar and re-install all your favorite mods? It might take a while, but it'll be worth it for this lovely piece of torchy goodness. <3

Just save a backup of your minecraft.jar and use a program like Minecrafter to switch between mods. With seperate maps, you won't have to worry about crashing either. And you can use the old minecraft.jar as a mod so you can replace the new 1.
Is there any way you can swap the shield from your dungeon mod with this dynamic hand held torch, a la oblivion? So that we can see and fight at the same time?

MC supports modding soon as an INTENDED FEATURE! ...so excited...my mind was blown when I learned... So issues like this won't happen anymore.
Just updated it so it should be compatible with ModLoader now. Will update the source code after I get back from work.
Yes, it works with Better Light you won't get the Ambient Occlusion with it though for the torch and I will see if I can change that later (but it gets smoothed).

There are three possiblities as to why your game looks like that.
1. The map just hasn't loaded the textures on those blocks yet, (try placing a torch there or something)
2. The terrain.png your using is missing textures
3. You installed the mod wrong.

I'll try the suggestions, even knowing that I installed everything and the terrain.png don't have any missing textures.

Still "missing texture" bug. The weird is that all texture work, but there are spots where don't have any texture.
