I have the latest version of MC and SPC, and World Edit is behaving very odd. When I attempt to select one region with the wand by clicking on a block, it will select an entirely different coordinate. What should I do?
press t to open the command, then you basically have to memorize or have a reference for all the commands to type.
1, Use whatever MC key you have assigned to "Chat"
2. simo's (SPC) and WorldEdit command lists may be found here; http://www.minecraft...ad/#commandlist .
Any of SPC's commands in blue have a video link.
WorldEdit commands need to prefaced with //; SPC commands don't need any /.

Read a few previous pages... It's well documented and discussed.

I am having the same problem i was seeing just now if anyone else was having it im glad im not the only one.
Yeah, i select a region and half the time it does a completly different region or does not do the whole thing i selected and this really bad when your working with red stone.

/time speed 0 - will turn off ALL updates /time speed 1 - set time back to nornal
The mask will tell worldedit what blocks to affect when using a brush.
So for instance if you type //mask sand the brush youre using will only affect sand blocks
You can also select many materials //mask sand, gravel, dirt, grass
@ Yijare;
Your question has been answered and you've been slapped so I'll just pass along this tidbit:

The above with "WorldEdit" in the window would have answered your question, immediately; and it wouldn't snipe at you for asking.

I just cut-pasted a structure form one point to another, and then the glass texture on the roof became black (look at the picture). What can i do to fix it? When i turn off smooth lightning, it goes away, but as soon as i turn it on again it reappears...
I'd use the wand, select a larger zone of the roof that included the problem area and try //set 20.
Lou
That looks like blast proof glass, a Mod that I think is discontinued.
It just tells me that "0 block(s) have been changed"... I just created the structure and it was alright until i cut-pasted it. I tried moving it again before, where the error was bigger, and it shrunk to the size it is now, but if i move it again, it grows or moves around...
Select the black glass, then //replace 1, (if it becomes stone) follow it with //replace 20.
Lou
I place anything on opposite corners of my roof, select them both, then run //set 20. I think much quicker than your method.
@ Gammarik;
At this point I'd break them all, put and select a cobblestone on opposite corners, and run //set 20.
If that didn't do it I'd learn to love black! But at least they would all be the same color.

ah ...
thank you, Sir.
anyways, the spc_WordEdit.class fails to load.
MC 1.1.0 with ML. MLMP, Forge, RedPower on Win7
Yes
This makes sense! Thank you for this!
Happened to my brother, too.
Fixed by placing the new worldedit.jar in the bin (not minecraft.jar) folder
//replacenear <size> gravel 0
If that's what you want. =)
The only problem I have with this is once I do "time speed 1" or uninstall SPC, all the sand/gravel falls.
Read instructions
Place WorldEdit.jar into the bin folder
