World Edit is really glitchy... Half the time I click a block nothing will happen. Then lots of times when I make a selection and turn it into blocks a completely different selection is made and isn't even close to what I actually selected.
What's up? (SPC Worldedit has always been glitchy for me since day one. The multiplayer one is flawless though. How come?)
I'm using the read me.txt for manually but on the last step i dont get...like do i just put worldedit.jar in the bin or do i go searching for files and put those in the bin?
Both the read me and page 1, post 1 are in error.
Manual Installation Instructions
Go to the *.minecraft/bin directory (start; run; then typing %appdata% works) and make a copy of the minecraft.jar somewhere.
Using 7-Zip or an equally capable archive viewer open the minecraft.jar (in the *.minecraft\bin).
Delete the META-INF folder.
Drag and drop ALL the *.class files, and any folders (2 & 1 respectively, when this instruction was written) found inside the Mod, in the minecraft.jar (Caution: don't drop them in a folder in the minecraft.jar).
Close the minecraft.jar.
Copy ALL the *.jar files found inside the Mod to the *.minecraft\bin directory (the directory where the minecraft.jar can be found. IMPORTANT! To restate the above; drag and drop the WorldEdit.jar in the *.minecraft\bin NOT the minecraft.jar. If using a Launcher or Patcher YOU must manually do this step or the WorldEdit Commands will likely not operate!
It used to work on mine but now it doesn't and i get some new commands but not all of them and I tried twice and both times i got some commands but not all any help would be aprecated.
Note:I should've posted this before 1.5 came out but this is still ok since xycraft is still for 1.4.7 but...
Ok, I'm not sure if someone has posted this already but this mod(for 1.4.7) and the latest xycraft aren't compatible. How you may ask, well making a xycraft tank with this mod installed(happens after right-clicking the valve) derps your inventory and moving anything in the derped inventory crashes you and tank never forms.
World Edit is really buggy. I hope it gets fixed. Sadly I will be uninstalling until it is fixed. (Only reason I'm uninstalling is because WorldEdit is all I need).
Other than that it's a great mod!
EDIT: I also want to know if it's just me with this problem. Please reply to this post if it's happening to you too!
I did the auto-install so that still doesn't explain why it doesn't work for me.
(Selections are messed up and sometimes when I try to make a selection with the wand nothing will happen).
The two of you have different problems.
He put the WorldEdit.jar in the wrong place and WE doesn't work at all.
I think you are on a flat world and should be using hpos1 & hpos2.
Both of these have been addressed numerous times, (his once or twice per page!).
A search and some reading by both of you probably would have answered your questions.

Loads of the commands are glitched, such as 'Butcher'(I get the Please report this error: Java.lang.StackOverFlowError.null)...
I've installed the Worldedit.Jar to the right place(bin), dragged all the correct files in...I've got no other mods to conflict with this(Not even Optifine)since I started with a fresh .Jar...
What does the "Sorted WE Current Command List" say?
You people need to get off your asses and READ!!!

Oh yes, I'm on a Flatworld. What does that change though to make it not work? Sorry about all this.

Also as far as I can tell by a few experiments this breaks command blocks.I'm really stupid. Sorry.
Both the read me and page 1, post 1 are in error.

READ the manual installation instructions on page 1, post 1!
Pay attention to where the WorldEdit.jar belongs.
Then post an apology to simo_415.

/bind y macro fly or
/bind y /fly
The macro allows you to do multiple commands in one macro
/bind f macro flatfloor.
use //replace 7 1, and your pickaxe until /pos (below your feet) returns "## 1 ##", then this makes a 250 block radius, flat floor.
flatfloor.txt
//limit 2000000
//pos1
//pos2
//expand 250 250 n
//expand 250 250 e
//expand 6 up
//replace 7 1
//limit 25000
flatfloor.txt
//limit 2000000
//pos1
//pos2
//expand 6 up
//outset-h 250
//replace 7 1
//limit 25000
Would probably also work but I've not tested it.
