Could you posibly add funtionality so that when pasting you can just paste to cordinates and you can choose to keep the area pasted selected, so you put in a command and whatever is selected is pasted at the cordinates and the new copy is selected. also if you paste a nether portal or something, will it always go to the same portal in the nether and back if you delete the original?
Well, the major thing that I would like not to be scrapped is noclip, and adjustable fly seeds. Those are my most used commands, mainly so I can WorldEdit stuff and be a very green and compact redstoner (1x1x1 passageways for the win!). I don't mind if you scrap the /bind command, there's already a mod for that.
Good luck to you simo. I hope the 20 commands will work well, the other 100 can be kept, and WorldEdit will work again.
This is probably the toughest update, but with the code staying fairly similar and not converting to others for SSP vs SMP, I'm sure the rest won't be nearly as hard.

As for why I want WE, I have some MCedit schematics saved to paste onto worlds, but I absolutely hate the controls, and besides, I'd love using the 2 in a combo where I can MCedit them wherever on a different world, and then worldedit them to fit with the theme or terrain, adjust/remove ground, etc then paste it where I need it.
Does that mean, it's possible we will only have 20 commands in the future? And one of the possibilities is that the other 100 or so will be scrapped? :'O
Some may not be needed with certain added commands to vanilla, like toggledownfall, time set, and even the new commands like /gamerule (for things like creepers, item drops, fire spread, natural mob spawning) Heck there may be a command or two that vanilla has that SPC didn't have. Unless I forgot about them and they were commands I didn't really use either because I didn't need to.
Hello.
This is the very first mod I'm installing so most likely, i've done something wrong.
First I downloaded auto installer and used it to create backup and install mod. No effect (unless there is some special trick how to use commands - pressing T and typping spawner command resulted in chat entry).
So i tryed manual installation - I deleted META_INF and I've put al *.class files into minecraft.jar. Also, I've copyed worldedit.jar into minecraft bin folder. Now, I finally achieved something. After this manual installation the game stays forever on "Loading terrain" screen.
So what am I supposed to do now?
SPC isn't updated for 1.3.2 yet, so unless you never updated your Minecraft from 1.2.5, it won't work. Wait about a week, and I'm sure simo will have at least a slightly-working version available to work with.

On... let me put this as Plane as I can state... Is there Bukkit for SINGLE PLAYER... I CAN'T... Key word... "CAN'T"... make a server... My Laptop won't do it...
My horrible compaq computer with 1gb ram (only half available) and minecraft worked ok with the lowest settings, and i was able to make a bukkit server to play on. That worked fine. But your only other option is of course to wait it out. Simo is trying his best to update the mod, so we can expect it soon, but we have to give him time. I recommend getting a better laptop... I got a gateway windows 7 for $320 and I was able to run a bukkit with 4 of my friends on at once. Good luck.
I hope World Edit can work with it. If it can't I will have to downgrade. I wonder how many other people will downgrade. Then maybe Mojang will change Minecraft back to the way it used to be, except with objects like emeralds.
Just to clarify:
World Edit is made by sk89q.
Single Player Commands is made by simo_415.
Single Player Commands is not World Edit, although it allows you to use World Edit in single player.
Right now you can still use this to get World Edit in single player without creating a separate server.

I'm gonna say this again. If this update isn't gonna support the new spawner types, heck if it doesn't support NORMAL spawners, I'm gonna punch whoever made MCEdit so annoying in the face! But not you Simo, it's not your fault...
Ok..... that's It.... I've tried using Betterlan... I've updated... EVERY FREAKIN THING! I've downgraded to 1.3.1.... I've downloaded Everything I should need... I followed the instructions TO THE FREAKIN LETTER... I made sure to use the Recommended version of Craftbuckit... I made sure to update Java... and now I'm getting THIS...

Alright... I've figured out PART of the problem. It seems the Map I was trying to load has been played in 1.3.2 already... therefor I have to find a way to DOWNGRADE a map... any ideas...

I am so pissed off right now that I'm probably going start hurting people if I can't use world edit by the end of today!
I AM LITERLY ABOUT TO HAVE A F***ING ANEURYSM OVER THIS!
Well then there is something very wrong with you, it's just a mod.
I'm sorry, It;s just so frustrating... I've been trying to fix this since last night and there is still no progress...
