Please, everyone, cut the guy some slack. I'm a web developer and designer. I program dynamic websites, e-commerce shops and crowd data interpretation on a regular basis. It takes me a good week or two to set up an e-commerce shop according to client specs if I work on it 5-6 hours a day for 5 days a week, and that's if I'm working with a system I'm familiar with.
This guy makes something that modifies a video game. I've attempted it before, and it's a whole lot more difficult. I just had the foolishness of starting a massive new project in 1.3, without thinking about the fact that SPC might not be there yet, and now I have to put it on hold, but that's my fault. Not simo's.
As a programmer, you can make about €40 ($50) an hour, and that's if you have few credentials - I've seen programmers with 20 years of experience make €75 ($90) an hour. Estimating that he's been working on this, say, 8 hours a day since the 6th, that's at least $1600 he could have made if he was programming something that made him money, rather than this mod, which is essentially a charitable project.
He's essentially providing a big service to all of us for free that would normally cost quite a lot. When somebody comes round your house every month and gives you free DVDs, you don't whine and ***** at them if they're a few days late one month because they had trouble getting the DVDs. Or maybe you do, but then you're an asshat.
So please, be patient. Play survival in the meantime. Hell, read a book or something. I know you want to continue your project - as do I. I also want to go on a holiday to New Zealand. But I can't. And yet, I don't constantly moan about it like some spoiled little kid whose parents won't give him a new flatscreen TV for Christmas. I keep busy with other things I find entertaining until I can. If there's absolutely nothing you find entertaining or fun besides building in Minecraft, then...I just don't know what to say.

Well said gentlemen Friedebarth and fred_salt! I have found a small mod, all it does is will let you fly in SSP. I mainly use SPC for the flying and the waypoints. I hope that link works. It's bmanrules flymod and like I said that's all it does, let you fly. oh there is something else called a speed hack but I have no clue what that is.. You drag two class files into mc.jar and you can fly using the same controls as in creative. it is at least something to keep me busy till my all time favorite mod is ready (SPC of course).

Was this just photo editing or a different mod all together. Or are they just getting there site ready for when it is released?

Giving them anything is a mistake IMO. It just encourages the whining and God help us if your ESTIMATE passes before the update is complete!
My suggestion is ask the Moderator to lock the thread until you tell him(?) differently.

Unfortunately locking the thread results in many topics getting started on the forums, better to have all the noise in one thread rather than the whole forum. I'm not too worried about 1.3.2 as once I update MCP it will be minimal effort between minor versions - the current issue I have is the extent of the changes between 1.2.5 and 1.3.1.

I promised an update so here is where I am at; I need to port my command loader into the new version then I can begin rewriting some>all of the commands from scratch (yes, this has a large impact on SPC, thus why it is taking so long). My best guess is mid>late next week. Also there will be a number of commands that are removed initially as there is too much work involved in porting them.
Take you time to update your mods. But i'd just want to know something, is there a way to have WorldEdit in SSP withoutSinglePlayerCommands? Or will i have to start my server in local?

Download world editCUI. It works too and its at 1.3 already. Try it until SPC is updated Hopefully beggars will see this and stop bothering poor simo

THAT is some asshat trying to make money (from addfly) off of someone else's work. If you download it, you can clearly see that it is actually the 1.2.5 version. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS IT IS JUST SOMEONE TRYING TO GET MONEY! IT IS NOT FOR 1.3.1!
I've looked around, and aside from a Bukkit-based server, this is the only way to use World Edit

You can't use any plugin but WorldEdit with this mod, unless you program it in. Good luck with that.
