I did read, misread to be exact (misread the 1.0.2 in the first post as 1.1_02 because I was excited to try the mod).
Okay so I am unsure of where to put the files in screen API can some please help? Or link me to something that will help?

that does appear to be what is happening, l.a is the (incorrect) function I'm calling to do that. 303 gave me the correct one on IRC, I'll fix it in a few minutes, maybe. what mods are you using with it? if you can tell me that, I can reproduce it. also, it's not entirely my fault, as while I am being somewhat inflexible by not detecting when someone hasn't added a tooltip, they should have tooltips on everything.
