wow, just messed with this while taking a lunch break on my work pc (2.5ghz core 2 quad, 4gb ram, intel on-board video). I went to a large, flat, open area in my world and hit the dirt bomb.
HOLY SH**!!!!
My pc immediately started to slow down BIG TIME, and the frame rate was so bad I couldn't get away, and I died :smile.gif: But I re-spawned, and it was STILL GOING! Minecraft never actually crashed, but it was like freeze frame for a while, so I alt-tabbed out, and shut it down. I re-loaded my back-up BIN folder, so I could stop the mod, because I think it would have eventually taken over the whole world, lol.
Anyway, when I reloaded, everything was fine, and wow, it's truly amazing what it has done to this part of my world. I'll have to back up my save and bring it home so I can really see what it's done (this pc is having trouble drawing everything, now that it's been mass-destructed).
I've got to get some screenshots later, it's really amazing!

Haha, nice to hear.. I'm trying to think of a way to implement a timer without making it too invasive of other files... To shut it off after like... 15 seconds.. as requested.. I'm also going to make it so explosions don't drop items, which will speed it up 10x

There are 10 kinds of people who understand binary.
Those who do.
And those that don't.

Rain, rain, go away,
THAT'S WHAT ALL THE HATERS SAY.
This could be pretty fun to create a post-apocalyptic world.
Survival Challenge: Set this off, let it run for a few minutes, then try to make a base and survive in the resulting crater.
Dirt = OP? this is amazing and now i am tempted to get the mod go onto a custom world which is awesome and blow it up after viewing the awesome. you sir are amazing.
Ok, with the new update, it is indeed a lot faster.. My work pc can nearly keep up with it for a short time, haha. Anyway, created a new world for the sole purpose of testing this out. Lit one dirt bomb on the top of a hill, and let it fly for like 15 seconds, before alt-tabbing out so I could stop the chaos. reloaded my backup jar file just to make sure it wouldn't keep going and took some screen caps.
Also, setting the view distance/fog to "short" helps a lot too.

Looks like I made niagra falls v2.0:
<pics>
Very nice! But you DO know you don't have to run both, right? They work independently.. lol

I installed this and it doesn't seem to be working. Is it not updated for 1.4 yet? Or do I just have terrible luck? Or am I doing something wrong?
EDIT: the lj.class file seems to be making my minecraft go all black screeny on me and it's depressing. The stone class file and the na.class file seem fine, though. Except for that the mod doesn't seem to work with 1.4. But I'm assuming you already figured that was the case.

That explains so much.
I approve of this mod, in spite of the fact that I'll probably never use it in fear of lagging out my computer. Have a diamond anyway.

Epicly fun though, have a notch :3
But it looks like a great way to create EPIC screenshots, so you deserve some diamonds.

Looks like I made niagra falls v2.0:
found a dungeon with a mob spawner inside
poor little squid
new caves to explore!

once someone's world is reduced to NOTHING but bedrock layer let me know . then you can build a whole world from the ground up!
