In order to make a sound mod, you need to make it so it doesn't download new sound files from minecraft.net/wherever and delete the other ones in the file. I think it happens 10 seconds after starting the .exe if that helps at all.
There was a mod that allowed for custom sounds that disabled this, I don't know where it was though...

I hope you add support to ride the bears/tame them.

Using the Sound Mod Enabler, I can stop Minecraft from deleting my sounds. I still can't make it play the new files, tho.

Congrats DrZhark! Your perseverance will be enjoyed by many, many people! I was looking at the decompiled code and can't figure out how the heck you managed to write this mod. Why is everything field.A.xx? This seems like nightmare code to mod.

Awesome mod, can't wait for the release! Also, the pictures on the OP are not coming up for me. Also, will you ever add new creatures to this mod, and when will the tutorial come out for this?
Please no water mobs (that means creatures or enemies) waters main purpose is to protect you from mobs by dving down and making a cave so u can breath and you should.also make it so you can put a saddle on all the mobs and ride them there is a suidcide bomber mod that makes you ride a creeper and detonate it when ever it won't hurt you.

Now you can help me tackle rendering non-standard models (i.e. models that arent extensions of the ModelBiped, ModelQuadraped classes). :wink.gif:

Is there anyway I can help? I think that we all are looking forward to things like lions, tigers, bears, shark, etc

I think once the mod is released and I find time to do some kind of tutorial, we could add between all of us more mobs/creatures to this mod.
My timetable is something like this:
-release the mod
-add mobs, something like a werewolf and a flying wraith
-add a polar bear, a horse
-add an aquatic creature
-do the tutorial
I plan on doing the tutorial last, so more models will be ready and it will be easier to expand the mod after that

So far, all the creatures drop leather. It can be changed easily, it's just I haven't figured out what to make them drop.
