hey for some reason i cant make the saddles, i didnt really look around for any other creatures but i dunno if i put it in correctly, it WAS working tho
We now have hazard creatures everywhere except the ocean, and the air as of now. For the ocean, I'm thinking sharks. The best I could think of is a shark that would have a tiny chance of releasing a fish on death. Any other creatures and rewards are uncertain.
For the air, maybe eagles and hawks. You can get a feather from them. They'll generally be passive, but can attack the player in response to being attacked.
Also, would you consider adding more items to the creature drop lists? It was nice that you made Obsidian into a somewhat renewable resource with ogres, and the torches from the flaming ogres are okay, and the diamonds from the cave ogres are excellent, but could a creature at least have a very small chance of dropping a lump of coal, a single iron ore, or a single gold ore?
If it is possible to place more than one item on a creature, give the rare coal drop to either the standard or flaming ogre, and place the iron/gold drops the cave ogre--just a single percent more common than the diamond drop. This should make it easier to build those expensive iron structures. How can a single material with many uses--weapons, tools, armor, rails, carts, and saddles--be so hard to find, with no renewable source? I'm not suggesting any blatant cheating, just a nice surprise of rare, valuable material every so often.
I really appreciate the horses, now we finally have a better way to travel besides those expensive, awkward minecarts that can only travel on a rail. It's also great fun protecting my home from vicious ogres, I finally have a reason for my habit of building my stone barracks with underground tunnels.

Anyone have the first version of the horses? The id of the saddle changed from 2031 to 2051 so I can't open my chest without crashing. Was this intentional?

I think you're right regarding the iron, is so scarce and needed. Perhaps I'll change the fire ogres to give iron randomly and torches most of the time.
OMG i jsut went on again in my world and i jsut had 1 black horse now i have 4 i dont know how this is posible maybe cloning but wtf ¿¿¿¿¿
OMG i just went running with one of that horses and found out in the sea part of my base a flying pegasus :biggrin.gif: omfg i just gave 1 bread and mounted it like 20 times and it was tammed :biggrin.gif:

I apologize. I didn't realize I was going to break savegames that way. I was trying to make the mod compatible with others, for some reason some people are unable to craft saddles and I think the reason is that some other mod is using the same unique ID, so I changed the horse saddle.. I did not think of the consequences.

If you're looking for rare animals such as unicorns and flying horses, I can recommend searching for them whilst riding a horse - that way, you'll cover large distances at a quicker pace, meaning that you'll encounter more animal spawns per (Minecraft) day.

And what's with all the Ogres! I see 4 of them bunched up together. I though the encounter rate was supposed to be low....
