Awesome mod OP! Thanks for all the work you do making it! One question though. Is there a way to stop disappearing mobs or get them back? Ive had multiple Pegasus and Nightmares disappear on me and since the last update all my horses that I had tamed and put in a stable are all gone :c Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! :biggrin.gif:
Well nothing in this thread has helped.
The video tutorials don't freaking help.
I don't get how to do this.
I don't know what the hell .rar is, or how to use it.
This is pretty freaking gay.
Dude, take it easy on the gay **** & get a grip of yourself.. you're making yourself look like a whinny b!tch.
plus your logic dont makes any sense!.. your line of reasoning is. Youdon't understand the process.. therefor it must be gay (bad)!? seems like you're the one with the issues here and so asking for help would be the proper next steps.
in any case ... I will try to help your dumb ass out.
a .RAR is a file extension. That extension is used to compress files and folders. (its like .zip)
you need to get yourself an application that will open .rar files.
WinRar is one of these programs also 7zip http://www.7-zip.org/ (open source and free.)
ModLoader Installation: (this mod loads any 3rd party modifications ie: mo'creatures )
1. open .minecraft/bin (note default windows installs will hide .mincraft folder,
to show it , open folder options in explorer (not internet explorer) set to show hidden files and folders. in the folder options tab)
2. back up minecraft.jar mincraft.jar.source
3. Open up minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7zip.
4. Drag and drop the necessary files ModLoader nto the jar.
5. Delete the META-INF folder in the jar.
install AudioMod the same way as above. back up minecraft.jar, rename it to mincraft.jar.w.ModLoader
in case anything goes wrong you 'll have backup. (this mod add the sounds)
go to Mo'Creatures folder.
install Mo'creatures
Step 1: Make a backup of your minecraft.jar files and Savegames (callit minecraft.jar.w.ModLoad.AudioMod (again for recovery if something goes wrong.
Step 2: Open your minecraft.jar file using winrar or 7zip
Step 3: Add contents of the folder "\files to inject to minecraft.jar\" to the root of the minecraft.jar file
(where all the .class files are)
Step 4: Add the png files located in the folder "\files to inject to minecraft.jar\mob", to the folder \mob inside the minecraft.jar (folder with png skins)
Step 5: Close and save your minecraft.jar
Step 6: locate the .minecraft\resources\ (where you have installed minecraft)
Step 7:. look inside the "\folders to add to resources\",
copy the \mod folder with all its contents to .minecraft\resources\
(make sure you are not adding this to the minecraft.jar file).
Your minecraft \resources\ folder should have then a new folder called '\mod\sound\' and inside you should have the new .ogg files
Step 8: Copy the MoCreatures.properties file to the /.minecraft/ folder
run the game, play with your horsies...
edit: yeah it is a little complected. but ALL of us here can load mods (so it cant be that hard now) and its the same process each of them. make backup, open rar put .class in mincraft.jar ..play minecraft..
but by the likes of it, you'll tell me that this is to much to read.
Somehow I think this wasn't meant to happen (these are my horses from before the recent Mo Creatures update). I guess I'll just have to wait for them to grow up. :tongue.gif: Kind of funny to see them so small and yet still wearing those saddles. I kind of doubt they're meant to get THAT small though. lol

Lol, yeah he already mentioned that. Tamed horses before the update have a funky age, so they start out super small. They do grow to normal size, so enjoy your horse-flys.

Ah right, I somehow missed that. Since they'll grow to normal size it's really more amusing than anything. :biggrin.gif: It's even more funny with how fast they seem to be when they're that small.
That's like me running around talking about baby dogs or baby cats.
the man has a point...
they do have proper names..
In general a baby horse is called a foal, if the gender in unknown. If the gender is known then a male is called a colt and a female is called a filly. Since I'm guessing though that there is no way of telling their gender, it would simply be best to to call them foals instead of baby horses. Also, the word foals is much shorter and quicker to write and say than baby horses, for those who prefer simpler things.
If any mac people on 10.6.6 are still having problems installing this mod, I've just updated my step by step guide on how to install using Minecrafter.
Hope it helps some of you out!!

Might I suggest making the height when thrown by a horse slightly smaller? I was trying to tame a black horse, and when I was taming it, it threw me so high that when I landed, it killed me at full health.
And of course when I got back, it had despawned and I wasted a saddle D: It was a rather unfortunate situation.
Hey I was reading a book and I thought that maybe you should make the Ice/Snow Areas more 'Alive' you should add more animals there. here are some animals I got from a book.
Animals: Spawn: Notes:
Musk Oxen- Snow- Spawn in groups of 3-7
Arctic Fox- Snow- Eh, i got nothin
Arctic Tern- Snow or Treetops?- i got nothin
White Wolf- Snow- Hunt in packs
Walrus- Water/Ice/Snow- Will attack if attacken
Wolverine- Treetops- Can kill animals larger than it, very powerful and agressive.
Narwhal- Water- Males have horns
Arctic Hare- Snow- Eat flowers and saplings
Lemming- Snow- Eat flowers and saplings
Snowy Owl- Branches of trees- Eat arctic hare
Reinderr- Snow- Run away from polar bears
Seal- Water/Ice- Goes to the surface for air every one and a while
Leopard Seal- Water/Ice- Agressive version of seal
This may very well be a silly question, but is the amount of time required to 'break' a docile horse variable? I ask because I've successfully tamed and bred two pairs of horses now, and save for one none of them so much as threw me off.
The Horses I've tamed were:
Regular - no bucking
Dark - no bucking
Second Dark - bucked me off twice, gave a unique sounding whinny each time
Unicorn - no bucking
The horses also tend to wander alot when being ridden, and the first black jumps constantly, but I don't really know if that's intended functionality, something I've done wrong, or just quirkyness with my client itself.

Firstly you have to have install ModLoader & AudioMod installed.
find it here http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=80246

You may have forgotten to copy the new /mocreatures folder inside of the minecraft.jar that folder has the new custom icons
I still don't see much of a difference in either the foals/baby horses or baby cats/kittens. :\
the man has a point...
they do have proper names..
Edit: the women has a point.
Ok, maybe it's just me then.. But it makes me twitch every time I see someone say baby horse LOL
Carry on!
Nope, its there. I'll try re-installing, though.
EDIT: They suddenly decided to start working.

depends how you tame them I think
wheat or bread takes a few tries
apple makes them instantly docile I believe
we need Spawn Control Mod!
