do the orges just go around destroying all the terrian? or just a set area like they terratorial and making a nest or bit for themselves?
and can't wait to try these, maybe notch will slow the updates down so the mods can catch up >.<

I haven't figured that out. What I'm doing is that they start the destruction when chasing you and also very sporadically at random.
Okay, would it be possible to tone down the ogre a bit? That seems like a bit much! Or if it were possible to have the damage, and thus the amount of block destroyed I hope, be reduced?
Also, I definitely like the idea of having Penguins spawn where Polar Bears do; I like the ambiance it gives. Could I perhaps also request Turtles? They would make a good amphibious non-violent mob. I don't know what they would DROP exactly... Perhaps fish as well? It might also be fun to add more than one size.
And would it be possible to also add a flying non-violent mob? Some kind of bird perhaps? That one could just drop feathers and lay eggs the way the Chickens do. Eagles come to mind.
Also, I have noticed that Chickens have a slow descent. They don't take damage from falls, and sort of drift, for lack of a better term. Would it be possible to add this somehow to a new creature, such as an aggressive mob? Perhaps an Emu, some kind of Moa Bird, or for an aggressive one as well, a Cassowary? They would be larger, and definitely in keeping with what you have in mind.
As a last thing, would it be possible to add in some kind of Goblin or Kobold? I know Notch is working on that as well, but it would be interesting to add groups like that, who are passive until attacked, then the "tribe" becomes aggressive, much like the Zombie Pigmen of the Nether.

Definitely, the amount of damage seen in the video was mostly for demonstration. They're doing perhaps half of that block destroying now.
For the other mobs you suggested, I have already a list of mobs I want to do first and then I'll write a tutorial so more mobs can be done by others as well.
That sounds intriguing. I for one would live to try my hand at adding, for example, the turtles I mentioned. I've a fondness for the species, and they just seemed so appropriate for the direction you had taken for the animals you added first.
The other ideas were again just trying to add suggestions based on the direction you had seemed to take. It looked like your idea was to add "Wild animals." The game really only had farm animals otherwise; if I had my druthers, I'd completely replace them with wild creatures, which feels more in keeping with the feel of the style of the game. Pigs for boars, for example. Chickens for eagles or ducks, sheep for mountain goats, cows for bison. Your addition of bears, lions, and wolves was, in my opinion, inspired.
WAIT A MINUTE IF YOU CAN MAKE OGRES THIS MUST MEAN YOU COULD CREATE THE GREATEST MOB IN MINECRAFT, We need dwarfs with pickaxes that can dig and posibly build structures
After you finish ogres, could you PLEASE make some kind of lizard or giant insect? I'm begging you. This is all I want.
Geckos...Giant. Geckos. They spawn on sand/in desert biome. <3 I would love that.
he said that he has a list to get through, so it may take a little while if he decides to make this, i think it's a cool suggestion, but it wouldn't be simple to make (he'd have to make a new model and stuff).

Absolutely. But it just hit me and sounded like it would fit in with MC. So I had to suggest it.
This mod is amazing. Even though it isn't quite updated yet, I used it with minecraft 1.2.5, and it was incredible. Anyone who is waiting for the creator to update, the mod is well worth the wait!
If I could make a suggestion for the ogre, Maybe it could pick up a small chunk of blocks (Like 3 ~ 8 blocks perhaps?) And hurl them at the player >:biggrin.gif:
Keep up the good work!

enemy suggestion
-snip-
It's a dodongo from the LoZ Series, Breathes fire and is basically a giant lizard. Suits the mod perfectly imo?
No, if a lizard is going to be added it should be a komodo dragon instead these silly suggestions. They would fit in with the wild animals already added, as komodos are carnivorous and venomous (they even eat geckos) and komodos would fit in desert biomes perfectly.
Here is another pic just to reference their size (they used to feed on tiny prehistoric elephants)

btw, anyway to make the animals show up on multiplayer as well? or is this just single player?

Just a few ideas, hope they help.

a flamethrower would be hard, make it ghast fireballs.

Can make the ogres of Hell?
they live in Nether and rush to the lava.
Dont forget they blow up when killed, and can only be hit in the tail.
