only needed to give me the environment.cfg file
but here you go
TROPICRAFT|Island Rainforest Mountains
that is what you will copy and paste into each Mob's biome group list for the tropicraft dimensions copy of EntityBiomeGroups.cfg to add the tropicraft biomes to the lists.
each biome entry is separated by a colon : like this (I've already added Tropicraft's biome to the list and bolded the colons.)
However, you must also make sure to include any other biomes that Tropicraft uses, like the Vanilla beach (maybe. I've never used it so I'm not sure). To find out what biome you are in, hit F3 when you are in the game and the biome name will appear. Along with other information like your coordinates, light level, FPS, chunk updates.
the Biome name may be localized so you must make sure the name used in the cfg file is in English.
the Biome name will be in the line that is the second from the bottom and will be the second entry in from the left.
since you have no other mods that add biomes, any more in the Tropicraft dimension will be vanilla biomes and will be
MC|biome name. You can copy and paste the entry for those biomes from other parts of the entitybiomegroup.cfg file.
just use the other mob biome groups as a guide and it should come out all right
Anybody else experiencing stubborn deer with MoC 6.1.0 in 1.6.4? Deer refuse to pathfind or move on their own once they are spawned, regardless of whether chunkspawned naturally or placed via spawn egg. They can get bumped around by other mobs and killed as usual, but they will not run away from the player or mill around at all. It seems like most other mobs are behaving normally, but I will do a more thorough check and then update this post if I find any other immobile creatures.
I'm using Mo Creatures 6.1.0 with CMS 3.0.0 and Forge 965. The only other mod I'm using at the moment is Optifine since I was trying to figure out what was causing my deer to remain immobile.
is this in an old map from a previous version upon opening it in a newer version of MC?
moving configs is a simple copy/paste job...provided you have access to the server. and that varies based on the server.
Old map? And where do I find the server files, how do I get access to the server?
Old map? And where do I find the server files, how do I get access to the server?
map made in a previous version of MC that you are using in a newer version.
if you don't know how to access the servers files, how are you adding the mods?

Hi, I just got this mod and I was hoping that I could play on the official Mo Creatures server.
When I tried going on the server, it said that a fatal error occurred and the connection was terminated.
I was wondering if this is happening to others or if it's just my minecraft.
uh, sorta, Villagers are set to Undefined and they still spawn
that's because they are spawning with the village rather than with the biomes they are in note that you can still summon spawn a mob that is set to false for spawning.
the bug that i am having is when another mod has a mob that is given undefined (for some obscure reason i can't comprehend) cannot spawn even after you change it in the config. this was the cause since 1.6.2 and why i never used custom mob spawner if i could help it but seeing as MSC2 is not up to date i have to use this one though i'm highly considering just making due with vanilla biomes till this problem gets fixed
There's 3000 pages, so you'll forgive me if this was mentioned before.
I'm playing in a Mesa biome, and Golems are broken there. They suck up blocks, but don't build when they get them. I had one suck up an entire mountain of clay and brown sand before it reached the stone layers below it and was finally able to build itself. This means any time one spawns, I have to run as far away from it as possible, or go into creative mode and surround it with other block types that it will build itself with.
I imagine this is just because the new biome blocks havent been fully incorporated yet into the Golems.

it happens to others, make sure your forge version is up to date and try again
Sounds amazingil cool. I like the new water creatures to and the warewolves. I think the ogres are a little to much though.Sounds amazingil cool. I like the new water creatures to and the warewolves. I think the ogres are a little to much though.
Attempting to set up custom biomes, but they keep coming up as invalid. They're from a custom mod of my own. Is there something I would have to do in either the biome code or spawn setup that would allow these to be recognized?
Mod package structure is "com.attributestudios.nethermod.world.biomes" for biomes. "com.attributestudios" is shared between two other mods, so I have changed the identifier in the MoCGlobal config (against recommendations, for sure, but the mobs seem to have been found all right).

what did you have in your environment.cfg file?
is it S:NETHERMOD <CFXNET:Nethermod.cfg>? if you don't have it exactly like that it won't work
but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it won't work unless you turn it back to
S:ATTRIBUTESTUDIOS <CFXNET:Nethermod.cfg>
and place all the biomes in that cfg file. If the Nerthermod.cfg file is empty I don't think CMS will recognize them.
though you can try it both ways in the environment.cfg file if it doesn't work with attribute studios

Fortunately, I've nailed it down to simple mod incompatability. Not sure what with yet, though.
Thanks anyways, though.
Ignore that, I accidentally disabled debug logging.
Even after refactoring the entire mod package structure to "com.nethermod.*" from "com.attributestudios.nethermod.*", nothing seems to have changed. I attempted the changes suggested to no avail. I'm going to attempt load order switching.

what comes up in the default biome list cfg file for the mod?

Hi DrZhark, I LOVE your mod, but I think the old Mo´Creatures horses (From Mo´Creatures 5.2.3 Minecraft 1.5.2) Are better than the new horses, because in the older versions of the mod the horses who were only obtainable by special breedings are now natural, and there were better mobs. I really hate the Minecraft horses but I love the Mo creatures Horses. Please do somtehing for that. And, I think if you add mummies, some mob spawners for the mod mobs and giraffes the mod nwill be great. Thanks :)Hi DrZhark, I LOVE your mod, but I think the old Mo´Creatures horses (From Mo´Creatures 5.2.3 Minecraft 1.5.2) Are better than the new horses, because in the older versions of the mod the horses who were only obtainable by special breedings are now natural, and there were better mobs. but here you go
TROPICRAFT|Island Rainforest Mountains
that is what you will copy and paste into each Mob's biome group list for the tropicraft dimensions copy of EntityBiomeGroups.cfg to add the tropicraft biomes to the lists.
each biome entry is separated by a colon : like this (I've already added Tropicraft's biome to the list and bolded the colons.)
S:MOC_ANT_DEFAULT <MC|Plains:MC|Extreme Hills:MC|Forest:MC|Taiga:MC|Swampland:MC|ForestHills:MC|TaigaHills:MC|Extreme Hills Edge:MC|Jungle:MC|JungleHills:TROPICRAFT|Island Rainforest Mountains>
You can copy and paste the entry for those biomes from other parts of the entitybiomegroup.cfg file.
just use the other mob biome groups as a guide and it should come out all right
I'm using Mo Creatures 6.1.0 with CMS 3.0.0 and Forge 965. The only other mod I'm using at the moment is Optifine since I was trying to figure out what was causing my deer to remain immobile.
Thanks!
Old map? And where do I find the server files, how do I get access to the server?
map made in a previous version of MC that you are using in a newer version.
if you don't know how to access the servers files, how are you adding the mods?

ticking entity error = incorrect forge version. MOC 6.1.0 requires forge .695
MOC 6.2.0 requires forge .1012+
When I tried going on the server, it said that a fatal error occurred and the connection was terminated.
I was wondering if this is happening to others or if it's just my minecraft.
Thanks,
dpp2000
that's because they are spawning with the village rather than with the biomes they are in note that you can still summon spawn a mob that is set to false for spawning.
the bug that i am having is when another mod has a mob that is given undefined (for some obscure reason i can't comprehend) cannot spawn even after you change it in the config. this was the cause since 1.6.2 and why i never used custom mob spawner if i could help it but seeing as MSC2 is not up to date i have to use this one though i'm highly considering just making due with vanilla biomes till this problem gets fixed
I imagine this is just because the new biome blocks havent been fully incorporated yet into the Golems.
what about Just Another Spawner?
it happens to others, make sure your forge version is up to date and try again
Mod package structure is "com.attributestudios.nethermod.world.biomes" for biomes. "com.attributestudios" is shared between two other mods, so I have changed the identifier in the MoCGlobal config (against recommendations, for sure, but the mobs seem to have been found all right).

Main config mods section:
mod-mappings {
(other mods)
S:nethermod
(other mods)
}
Changed string from S:attributestudios to s:nethermod as it appeared that the string was derived from the package name. Please note that it did not work as S:attributestudios either.
Biomes/nethermod.cfg:
# biomes
####################
biomes {
S:biomes
}
Spawns are registered in the mod through Forge's EntityRegistry.
Is there anything I can do in my mod to fix this issue? I'd rather not disable replacing vanilla spawns (as that option fixes many other spawn issues).
Thanks!
what did you have in your environment.cfg file?
is it S:NETHERMOD <CFXNET:Nethermod.cfg>? if you don't have it exactly like that it won't work
but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it won't work unless you turn it back to
S:ATTRIBUTESTUDIOS <CFXNET:Nethermod.cfg>
and place all the biomes in that cfg file. If the Nerthermod.cfg file is empty I don't think CMS will recognize them.
though you can try it both ways in the environment.cfg file if it doesn't work with attribute studios
Thanks for the reply!
