If you start to make the creature mobs more comprehensive and varied like this, I would suggest each particular creature as a separate mod, (but you can release them all in one archive file, so people can decide which ones to add) No offense intended to anyones opinions, but stuff like unicorns seem weird and out of place to me in a survival game that verges on a survival/horror, and the goblins idea sounds poorly balanced. Lions are already being a hassle to deal with (although i'm not complaining, they are cool, just a bit vicious on hard). I think the game should TRY to be mostly safe during the day (this is when you do most of your outdoor work!), as the current spawning code makes mobs spawn sometimes RIGHT BEHIND YOU. but 3 goblins throwing stones for 1 heart a piece could actually be really devastating and far more dangerous than a skeleton, and spawn during the day!?
It will be impossible to keep everyone satisfied with the mobs that are included or not. Some people will hate to see an unicorn, others will love it.
The reason I made the wraiths spawn only on normal and hard, was to give people the option to choose if they wanted them in the game or not. Later, I'll have to create a configuration file so you could choose which mobs to have spawning and which not.
Just changing the code with every release, takes quite some time. I have to re-configurate Eclipse, and cross reference.
wait, this doesn't mod the creatures in game, but instead adds new ones? :-o oo waiting for update, wanna give it a try, tired of seeing giant spiders all over the place -.-
Apparently Timeroots already has a working 303 modloader up and running
If only audiomod was made compatable so that well... I Just more beasties to fight that know nothing but murder... And the ogre, How exactly does he behave?

Why stop at the melee? Just admit (Halo) Reach itself was a mistake. It is, really. The Hindenburg was less broken than this.
I'm updating the mod so it's compatible with minecraft 1.2.5
However, I haven't finished the ogre, it won't be included in the update yet. I'm working on new AI and it's taking longer than usual. What I can tell you is, so far the ogre hates mostly everything.

Yup its really kewl spiders do get boring hahahhahah and creepers just blow up BOOM now u got lions wolves bears and newest wraiths xD make it much funner xD
The second this mod gets updated, I'm installing it and having an awesome time trying to put a saddle on a bear. It looks awesome, hope it plays as good as it looks.
I suggest adding some peaceful wildlife mobs. Deer and moose, in particular. Moose would be extremely resilient and slow, dropping huge quantities of leather; while deer are ridiculously fast and will flee at the sight of you.

Hmm, when do you intend to make them with noise? not complaining just a question. Other than the lack of noise, I think this mod is a wonderful one.
they do have sounds, have you installed audiomod? and copied the .ogg files in the right place?
No I have yet too, however I will tomorrow, I cant at this moment due to time restraint issues. Thank you for your help though it is very much appreciated :happy.gif:.
Hi
I have updated the mod again, this time with a good A.I. overhaul. The new mobs now hunt :smile.gif:
I'm yet to add more AI behavior, especially fleeing from hunters or when attacked. But I'll finish the ogre(s) first.
I figured it out myself with the help of MCP. I just looked into the code and investigated, cross referenced, changed code.... you get the idea.
I wanted more variety in the game and nobody had done it, so I had to do it myself.

Old Default | Minecraft with an old flavour
Not to shabby, not to shabby at all. A decent Idea if OP can decently program AI's.
I love this entire damned mod.
Firehazurd has some truely epic ideas! and great concept models!
