Question: Does anybody know the chances of getting a Black Pegasus after breeding the correct value #?
Not sure if there is an accurate % for it, just a "chance" you may get one. Kinda random I think, I have seen posts where people get one first time and others throwing flames around because theyve tried multiple times and got light browns etc.

Quick guide on how to breed horses:
Rules for breeding:
-The horses to breed should be kept close (no more than 4 blocks away)
-There should be no other horses around (8 blocks)
-Both horses to breed should have never bred before
-You have to feed them both to start the process (suitable foods are eggs or pumpkins)
-you can not be too close (4 blocks) or they won't breed
-it takes time (about 1/2 Minecraft day)
-the results of the breed depends on the genetic 'value' of the horses:
light horses = 1
brown horses = 2
dark horses = 3
unicorns = 4
pegasus = 5
packhorse = 6
nightmare = 7
black pegasus = 8
Depending on the sum of both parents' genetic value you have a chance of getting a rare breed:
-sum equal 7 = chance of getting a packhorse
-sum equals 9 = chance of getting a nightmare
-sum equals 10 = chance of getting a pegasus
-sum equals 12 = chance of getting a black pegasus
-two packhorses won't give birth to a black pegasus
-if the sum is none of the above, you will get a random horse with genetic value 1-5

TG

Damn things ripped my house to shreds. You should try making them rarer, not by a lot, just as rare as a Unicorn or something. Sometimes I just end up re-loading my back up, I just don't find it fun when that happens too.

It's hard waiting around for something that you know might never happen; but it's even harder to give up when you know it's everything you ever wanted.

im almost 100% sure this has been answered, but i have found no records of it.
is mo creatures compatible with humans+ ?
i know its was a shared project in inserting horses in humans, just wanna know how compatible both mods are.
oh and quick thought
wouldnt this be a more suitable saddle?, since the iron would be against the horse's back on the current recipe ( not a big deal just a thought)
and dont horses need mouth piece things for the steering?
Well can anybody tell me how to get rid off the unwanted mobs please? Much appreciated.
DS
Sorry dude I dont know how to edit stuff out. What have you got and what do you want to get rid of?
Maybe theres specific pack for things to download, or I can help work it out with you...
Cheers,
TG
Downloaded the whole package. I wanna get rid of the ogres and the wraiths and maybe boars or something...
I know you have to alter their properties in some way but I'm not sure WHERE to do that.
OMG I should have known, Im getting as bad as the people I roast on here. DS, go into the rar/zip for the 2.4 Mo Creatures and read the Readme.txt lol, I just did. Its all in here. I put my hand up to say I didnt look either, sorry.
It says...
ChangeLog:
Version 2.4
-Added property file, from now onwards, the mod is released as a single package and you can edit the 'MoCreatures.properties' file to add/remove creatures at will
(thanks to czrozi)
the mocreatures.properties file should be copied to the /.minecraft/ folder (where you also find the lastlogin and options.txt files)
By default, the file contains the following:
Horse
Ogre
FireOgre
CaveOgre
Boar
Bear
Duck
LionK
Wolf
PolarBear
Wraith
FlameWraith
Bunny
Bird
Fox
Werewolf
If you want to deactivate mobs, simply open and edit the mocreatures.properties file by changing the name of the mob i.e.:
No FireOgre
FireOgre-
#FireOgre
*FireOgre
fireogre
Any of those changes will deactivate the Fire Ogres. If you leave an empty line, the mod won't load any of the mobs after that empty line.
The name of the file 'MoCreatures.properties' is case sensitive as well as the name of the mobs. i.e. 'horse' is not the same as 'Horse'. changing the name to 'horse' will deactivate that mob.
If you don't copy the MoCreatures.properties file to the right place, all the mobs will be loaded by default.
Now I will go bash myself about the head until forgiven :sad.gif:
Cheers,
TG

There are lots of people here that are willing to help others but without proper information it makes it kinda hard aye.
Need more info...
