Just a note to all of you (lets see how many of us facepalm)
I had blackscreens ever since I went over to MC1.0, couldn't figure out why
I stored a bunch of old mods in a folder I named "mods"
I changed the name of the folder just for the heck of it
Suddenly it works.

Something you have installed is looking for API GUI, probably mo creatures, which needs that mod to run. Go to the mo creatures thread, find the part where it says you need to install these mods, grab API GUI and install it.
That error log was using a fresh jar with onlymod loader installed.
I posted the error already. Read my last post geeze.
mod loader is the only thing im using, i started with a fresh jar, and i installed it correctly.
So yeah with 15+ people saying they have problems with it...then yeah it looks broken to me.
No, YOU learn to read MY post. Didn't I say that not all mods need to be installed in the jar file? Didn't I say that some mods can be installed in the MODS folder? Didn't I say to clear out the MODS folder and the CONFIG folder? Did you even try that?
Getting a clean jar is only half of it, go to your minecraft folder, see if there's a mods folder there, if so, delete it. See also if there's a CONFIG folder there, delete it as well. Then try running minecraft.
i don't know if this is a glitch or its supposed to happen but firstly if there is a mob behind me and i fire a ice arrow with the homing bow it makes me not be able to move
and also my dragon eggs look like what ever is next to them in toomanyitems its the same shape but right now it looks like a wireless red-stone thing
pls help me
Can't answer your arrow question.
There was a hotfix for the dragon egg problem a few pages back, use that, Risugami knows about the problem so I'm told, and will probably fix it next time around.
Oh lookie, once again equivalent exchange + buildcraft trolls me. Can someone help me out, and tell me how to fix whatever this is.
EDIT: IF you know whats wrong and how to fix it, plz post here or msg me. THANKS!

Looks to me you are trying to load the armor stand twice? Seems it's already in the jar, and you have it's zip in the mods folder.
When I try to download modloader my game black screens every time... trust me, I have tried several times and it just refuses to work. anything else I can try?
Also, Shelf mod doesn't appear to be working. This is my error report.

That's the strange error where it doesn't automatically change the ID for the shelf, you have to do it manually. Go to the config folder, find the shelf config file, open it in notepad, and change the ID to something higher than 102. I think the one time I tried it, it automatically changed it to 132, start there and go up.
Sais "New update available. Would you like to update?"
When I click yes, it sais Failed to launch, "Error occured (4): /Users/<Name>/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft... cant see further but...
When i click no, it works.
I think i made a mistake while installing a mod.
I did delete the version and restarted, but didnt work.
Any help available?
When you start minecraft, hit the options button and choose to force an update. Then once it's done getting the latest files, close minecraft and then install modloader.
Didn't I say to clear out the MODS folder and the CONFIG folder? Did you even try that?

never put crap in mod folder.
Have a ton of other games with folders named the same name, (found mods folder, nothing in it)
and no clue what config your talking about.
Latest snapshot (11w50a), newest MCPatcher, and Modloader= doesn't work lol
If I just patch the snapshot with mcpatcher it runs fine. Soon as I add modloader I can login and it goes to downloading update screen(which normally just flashes for a second) and freezes. Possible incompatibility? I have no other mods installed when I am trying this.

anyway same problem
There's sometimes a config folder in your minecraft folder. Nothing there either? And you're sure there's nothing in the mods folder under your minecraft folder? If you're using a clean jar like you say, and there's nothing in the mods folder, I don't know where it's getting those other mods from, it's trying to load them from somewhere.
Still, this is not a modloader problem, actually, modloader is working perfectly, it's trying to load your other mods, that for some reason are still trying to be installed. Do you share this computer with anyone else? Or does anyone else have access to it that might have installed the mods in the past?
And you're not using the MCPatcher to install the graphics fixes are you? Because that will remember the last set of mods you installed and install them each time. Just being sure, as I don't think you're using it, trying to cover all the bases.

Install it again and get an error report. You can get one by using MCPatcher and using the "Test Minecraft" option.

oh please mcpatcher? that piece of junk never works.it just gets stuck on loading minecraft jar when i click test.
its only use is for wasting disk space.
ok this is probably a very stupid question so please dont grief me just ignore but how do i get minecraft.jar as ive never had it and know idea what it is
Hey i love your mods but im getting bored of the aether the nether and ive had probs with the two moon worlds so i was humbly wondering if you'd try your hand at making a moon mod or something of the kind or maybe a pet mod you know one that grows like have a few pet choices and they grow to like twice your size long way kinda not taller maybe a little wider but not more then two doors wide so you could take them in your house ohh this could be a good series you know come out with pet furniture for a room depending on your pet you could have a lizard type pet a bird type a wolf/dog type maybe a polar bear you know but like have like pet beds cages food bowls cages to lock them when you go traveling also another idea would be a teleporter so you could have two homes over vast distances idk i think if you did them these mods would be awesome
