Hooray! I can't play on SMP servers with a lot of chat without this mod.
I have a server (personal) and regular local client version of minecraft. Will this work for both? Or do I have to install on server side for when I log into the server to play?
Edit: It works no matter if single player or multi. Just locks the UI size for your client, not the rest on the server.
Straight copy-over now messes with smooth shadows. Gonna need to re-think how this mod's implemented. Doesn't work properly.
It has absolutely, positively, 100%, no affect on shadows. I don't know what you mean by straight copy over, but if you're using an older version, download the latest.
This mod NEEDS to be added to the game, or we should at least have an option like what was done with smooth lighting.
As useful and necessary as this mod was (I used it all the time), it's now obsolete.
The new guiScale setting in Options.txt does the same thing, just set it to guiScale:2
Very welcome addition indeed :smile.gif:
PS. You can set it to guiScale:1 and get an even smaller ui and guiScale:0 is the default behaviour

Thank you! This information is valuable indeed... you've earned yourself some and :tnt:.

One less thing to conflict with something. This was a worthy mod in its day though, much appreciation to this and all modders.
This really should be put in the changelog for 1.4 on the wiki, I don't know wikiskills so can't figure how to edit or anything. So useful!
Sorry, i had not seen the previous post... but in my option menù there isn't the entry "GUI Scale"
It's not actually an in-game option. Go into your .minecraft folder and open 'options.txt'. Right under viewdistance you'll see guiScale:0. Change that to 1 or 2 for a smaller interface :smile.gif:

To disable resizing of the UI.

No. It's built in to the game now.
