The Malevolent Mines is a survival CTM map inspired by Vechs' Super Hostile series, that I have been working on for little over a year.
Like the Super Hostile maps, you can break, place or craft any block except ender chests, you're not allowed to create Nether Portals, etc... So, in that regard, it's relatively similar.
However, I tried to do a few things to make this map unique. For example, this map uses a ton of command blocks, it has some extremely unique loot using command blocks that I guarantee has never appeared in another map before, 15 (pretty basic) bosses, and a fetch-quest NPC system, since I know everyone "loves" those.
Resource Pack
This map also makes use of a custom, optional resource pack, which you can download here. It's in a 16x resolution, and is relatively similar to Vanilla. While it's not mandatory, I would recommend using it, since it makes the map look a little bit better (In my opinion).
Map Rules
1) Find and complete the Victory Monument.
2) All items (wool) on the Victory Monument have to be found, not crafted.
3) You may place, break, and craft all other blocks (except for Ender Chests). Feel free to craft wool blocks for non-victory monument purposes.
4) Don't create Nether Portals.
5) A lot of information is displayed through the chat, so I would recommend making it a readable size.
Bonus) Complete the Disc "Monument" for special rewards. ... !
Recommended Players: 1-4 . You can have more, but the map isn't balanced around having that many.
Current Map Status: 85% done. The only thing that's not in are possible bug fixes, difficulty changes in some areas, and drastic changes to every area in the map.
If you do try the map, and want to help bug test and make sure it's not awful when it finally comes out, then please leave feedback. (And, yes, all videos of the map are highly appreciated, and allowed.)
(Especially as your... first... comment...? Wow. Well, since you decided to seemingly create a comment just to respond to this thread, let me give you something in return. Your website URL doesn't work. So... I would recommend fixing that.)
Anyways, thanks for posting.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
You never know if you don't go, you never shine if you don't glow.
I don't know if you want videos of the map out there, let me know if it's an issue.
No, please, make videos. They're really helpful when it comes to tweaking of some areas, they help me see how... good? certain areas are, and, most importantly of all, they're really entertaining.
So, thanks for making a video, and feel free to make any more.
So, let's cut to the chase.

I played it and made a little video
It's literally the first CTM map I've ever played so I'm pretty stupid in the beginning lol.
It's a fun map, excited to play more.
Also I don't know if you want videos of the map out there, let me know if it's an issue.
