Well, I haven't worked on it very much since last week, seeing as I've got my feet in a couple of other maps across the forums, but I hope to fix the resourcepack and post it in the OP. So if I miss some bugs, it's your fault ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well, if you're wondering why I'm not posting updates, it's because I'm working on another map (don't worry it's fairly short) and when I'm done, I'll get back to work with this.
Well, over the past week I've gotten back to working on this map and I hope to have a new version released soon. No new areas (I really, really, really hate the Death Mountain I built).
Todo:
Add some minigames (I have a couple in mind)
Add the Potion Shop
Add Maron's Miniquest/Dialog
Add more sound effects

So you're still unsure whether or not you should go completely vanilla?
Well, I'm working on a totally vanilla zelda map at the moment *wink* that I can work on alongside this one. This one will not be vanilla (partially because I feel like I might lose some people who like this map because of ZSS) I can't say that I could quit this map if I wanted to. I've been working on it for so long, yet I've made so little progress. The main story has changed half a dozen times, but I think progress should start flowing smoothly this summer, considering I finally finished the forest temple (which was probably more or less forty percent of the man-hours spent on this map) and the fact that Zidane's working on stuff. I just started last night on a cool little minidungeon which is the beginning of the map's major sidequest. I also hope to get some other stuff done which I've been putting off (i.e. the potion shop, Maron's sidequest, the slingshot, etc)
At this point, though, this is my main project. That other map I mentioned a while back is probably not going to happen (seeing as my partner flaked on me again...) so, other than redstone-systems and 3D models for the other map (which is pretty much all I've gotten done aside from the story) 90% percent of my time spent playing minecraft is working on this map.
I'm gonna quit now cause Im sure your eyes are hurting
Yep. It's on 1.8. There's a file in the download which tells you which mods to use.

So... thoughts? Bugs? Is it playable? Too easy? Too hard? Anybody?

I'm going to wait for more content. Even if its just something like a minigame.
I'm renovating the water temple so it looks more visually appealing, plus new puzzles and mechanisms :3
Here's a preview.

Well, as of last night, there is a big holdup. This update might come a lot later than I thought. =P
Sorry for the lack of updates. I have not had much time lately, but I hope to get back on it once I go on vacation for a while.
So far, I still want to:
redo the first boss fight
add a certain mini-dungeon
work on more stuff like in the screenshot:
Just finished the boss fight...

Lel XD, Don't worry, I read much longer passages all the time XD
Then I guess you'll be okay with walls of text in the map
(FYI I'm just kidding. I hate it when mapmakers do that)
nice model you got there
Thanks. I've got more mob and boss related stuff in the works.
