Hey all,

I've been currently working on a major project for Minecraft to remake Legend of Dragoon. I will try to show little bits and pieces on youtube, but would love to have any help people are willing to provide. I currently have a decent texture pack that needs some work, and any help with redstone or detailing/map building would be awesome. If you are interested at all, just send a private message to me and I will try to respond ASAP. Lastly I am not a pro-adventure map maker, but am learning pretty well and absolutely love the game, Legend of Dragoon.

I also want to give a lot of credit to pryoduck111 for inspiring me with his amazing Minecraft edition to Donkey Kong 64, and helping me along with this game as well. I encourage you to give his map a go if you have the time!

Progress:

As to where I am currently, I am working to create a server world that will allow for people to join and possibly become builders for this amazing project. I am currently using MC Edit and world painter to move and relocate chunks of my world to now flow properly and become a completely open world.

3D Models for the 200+ enemy models are in very slow construction but still on there way.

Just wanted to post an overview of easy ways people can help out on the project. There is also a video explaining a little bit as to what I want as visual.

To contribute and get your name in the works of this project, all you must do is create an interior of a house of your choosing from the list below and submit that to me by messaging me on Minecraft forum.

Note: Ways that you can send this to me after contacting me will either be screenshots, videos, and/or the actual save itself.

If it isn't Tuesday when you are reading this, it should be because this is such a huge Transformation Tuesday post.

It has been a long ride and a lot has been put into this map but the little knowledge and tools I had when first creating this map to now has been a drastic change and oh what a year can do.

So glad somebody is doing this! There's so many wonderful locations in LoD that I would love to see in Minecraft, especially the Wingly cities and the Crystal Palace in Deningrad.

Update for Limestone Cave, another transformation .

Seeing this being done just fills me with joy. Legend of the Dragoon is one of my all time favorite games. I was sad when the sequel was cancelled and now I get to see this wonderful game being remade in Minecraft. I bid you the best of times and I can't wait for this to be finished.

Pre Demo Release:

Ahh thanks for all the help, Custom sounds and updates to the resource pack will continue to be in develop! I'll try to work out the other bugs that you experienced. Music from the game should play if you had the resource pack on (hopefully), and more custom sounds will be added once I find a way to take sound effect files from the games ROM.

The music's sound should be with music volume. The only issue I can think is that you are having is that you might be playing on 1.12 instead of 1.11, which might cause some issues because I noticed that 1.12 made changes when it came to playing music. If that is the case do not fret because I have updated for a 1.12 Resource pack once I get further in along to publishing this I'll make sure to do what you said and put it with the map download, along with add those additional features you recommmended

If you are playing on 1.11, I'll do my best to personally re-download from the provided link and see what fixes I can make or find that can help.

I decided this morning to search "Legend of Dragoon Minecraft" on a whim. I wasn't expecting anything really, maybe a location or two someone has built. But then I saw this and I'm not ashamed to admit I almost teared up.

The amount of love and time put into this is AMAZING. I can't believe the accuracy of everything. Some photos truly look like game screenshots.

I'm beyond stoked to try this out later. I just had to tell you how happy this makes me and undoubtedly other fans of the game. You're awesome and your project is awesome. Keep up the incredible work!!
