Candlestick Park was a baseball stadium used from the 1960's to the 1990's by the San Francisco Giants. It was also used for concerts (like the last Beatles concert back in the 60's) and football, but this world is in baseball configuration intended to portray the stadium as it was in the 1990's when I would go to see the Giants play. It was cold and foggy during the summer, the crowds were rowdy at times, and the wind would pick up debris and play havoc with the field. However, I enjoyed going there. Now Candlestick Park is demolished, but I'm hoping that this world will help preserve the memories of this park. It's free to download and enjoy, but if you paste it into another world please give me credit.
This is a work in progress, so it is far from finished. File names are based on the date (year, month, day), so keep that in mind when selecting the download file. I intend to keep working on this world and adding updated files to this project.
It has been over 20 years since I was there, so if anyone knows any details that I left out (that aren't too difficult to change) please let me know. I based this stadium off of the field measurements posted online and photos I found through google, so the outside dimensions are my best guess. I approximated 1 block width as a yard and the diagonal as 1.4 yards for ease of conversion. Home plate to backstop is 66', to right field is 328', to center is 400', and to left is 335'. The infield is to generic MLB specifications I found online, and everything else is approximated from pictures. Also I have no idea of how to do the tunnels under the lower stands since I can't find a map or anything online. I emailed the SF Giants and while they were nice enough to respond the same day the rep said that since they didn't own the stadium they didn't have any information that would help me. I have emailed the SF Recreation and Parks department twice and the second time they said they would look for anything that might be helpful, but I'm still hoping they will find something.
The attached photo shows the progress I've made as of the beginning of this thread. This is the third time I've started a build of this stadium, the first was on minecraft ps3 edition but I realized it couldn't be shared, so then I switched over to minetest and got most of the way done, and now I'm building in minecraft PC version.

I've added some more details in the stadium, and worked on some landscaping and the parking lot. The original post has been edited for the current download file.
