I'm a fan of books and games of ''The Witcher``, and decided to make a map based on the world of The Witcher. I did the basic ground in World Painter with elevations, mountains, lakes, etc. I want to put the most important points of the Witcher universe, including:
I also want to put secondary places, a city in the Mahakam mountains (like the city of the dwarves of The Witcher 2), the swamp of Velen (place of the ladies of wood in The Witcher 3), Black Forest in Angren (House of Glass Comic) , x sodden hill, Lighthouse Peixe de Mar near Cintra, Doll Blathanna, Belhaven etc ...
Some places I do not know if I'll put on the map, but it would make sense to have, kind Roggeven, Blaviken, Hengfors, Lan Exeter, Pont Vanis Ban Ard, Cidaris, Bremervoord, Kerack, Dellingen, Attre, Riedbrune, Scala, Spalla, Guleta Ban Glean, Rinbe, Ghelibol and Slellig islands.
Definitely will not put Nilfgaard realms, it would take a lot of work.
I'm from Brazil. I'm still creating cities in the world, it will take to complete, but when finished, would be pretty cool to see it played on a server
Thanks for the comment.
A few in game screenshots of the landscape will help to get a nice fan base going for this project. Your worldpainter map looks good, but we can't tell what this actually looks like in game. Thanks
They look good, but I was talking more about the actual landscape, while you've shown us screenshots of buildings. You have to do a lot of walking between the towns/cities I'd assume, so we would like to see screenshots of these areas. The winding paths through the wilderness and the likes. Unless you haven't really started on those yet, which I'd understand. Maybe some screenshots of iconic landforms will do instead? Thanks
Xagonal, I'm giving priority to the construction of cities, after completing this step I plan to make part of nature, forests, mountains, roads, etc ... The problem is that there are several cities, so I'll take some time to do this step.
My plan is to do the following:
Step 1: Build the terrain by the world painter (already finished)
Step 2: Build all the cities and buildings (I'm currently doing)
Step 3: Make nature, mountains, forests, lakes, roads, etc ...
Step 4: Think of a story to the map
Step 5: Put all the npc's's on the map
Step 6: Make the missions and the Redstone systems
Step 7: Complete the map with the details and test it
Follow me on the forum I'll bring the news, tomorrow I will post pictures of the new city I did that is Vengerberg.

OK I have seen your towns, castles and ports and none of them seem to impress me and I get that your still working on them. The towns looks a bit unplanned like it has no layout and lacks 3D detail on the house and the roof look very simple and needs improvement and the town lacks natural detail like the gravel pathways, house, and trees look brand new and they need some age like the bigger and older looking trees, houses that look old and gravel pathways look more dirtier or older and check gazamo channel for building tutorials(not trying to advertise but they really do give good tutorial on how to build). The castles look bland even though they are not blocky and lack block variation and walls have zero detail no block variation and 3D detail. The port suffers from same problem from the towns and the actually looks empty like no one have ever dock there and to fix this add a ship or make the port bigger so you can add things like barrels or crate or even some cranes operated by pulleys.(if you don't know what they are use Google)The ma has LOTS of potential but at the end of the day it is just very incomplete and needs heavy amount of work so I wish good luck on your map and hope for the best out of your map.
Usamathebest11, I'm making this map a not very large scale, so I can not put as much detail in 3D, my intention is not to make a very large map, I want to do a scale where it is not boring to cross from one end to another map . I'm trying to put the maximum variations of the cities at this stage, but after building all cities will go back and give more details on all of them, will vary the doors, trees, windows, textures, roads, etc ... I hope have clarified, and thanks for the comment.

This is not a large scale map? It doesn't look like it to me but anyway i have seen many map small maps that have lots of 3D detail inside and out like Herobrine Return and your map looks bigger then and just because your not making a big map doesn't mean you don't have to put little effort into it as possible but anyway, if you can add more detail just use world edit to organize your towns, castles and ports. Witcher 3 is by the way is a super big game and how could possibly make it more smaller in minecraft and minecraft world are 30 million by 30 million blocks which is bigger then neptune. One final question why are you doing this alone it seems odd for someone to recreate the entire Witcher 3 game in minecraft all by yourself if you want some good server hosting company i recommend Mcprohosting but if you need free server hosting go for triangle.gs.
Usamathebest11, although I have used some references of the game the witcher 3 I intend to do something different, it's a project I want to do alone, I want to recreate all references I have the witcher universe of my way, the development of map still in the beginning, all you see can change, improve, I still intend to go back to all the cities that I did and expand and improve, but in the way I planned. As for details in 3D, I will not have problems with space to make the roads and part of nature, but my space to make a city so that it is correct is limited, if I am exaggerating the details in 3D with the blocks i have in minecraft, can get ugly and wrong, when I'm back in the cities to give more details, I want to come back with some mod that has smaller blocks so that it is right and beautiful, thus can give more relief in constructions.
I ask you to take three things into consideration:
1 This map is not about the game the witcher 3 (although get some references)
2 The development of the map is still in the beginning, all you saw on the buildings will improve relative to detail, with textures and reliefs for example.
3 I will keep the scales of constructions like this:
Large constructions ranging from 24 height, 20x20 (width and length)
Normal constructions ranging from 14 height, 7,8,9,10x10,11,12 (width and length)
I hope you have understood and thanks for the tips.

OK now I understand your size limitations and why you want to do this alone but 20x20 is little to small try a bit bigger like 30x30 or 40x40 but since you like the way you do thing i won't bug you anymore
Usamathebest11,the problem is that I've done some cities following this pattern of 20x20, and like I said, if I use a larger size in construction I end up surpassing the limited space I have to make cities an example doque I'm talking about is oxenfurt, it's like an island, if I make large constructions it was not going to fit many buildings within it, but if I do following my standard 20x20, can fit more constructions.
Critics are always welcome, thank you.
Usamathebest11,the map is 4992x4992, according to the world painter, but much of the map is the ocean, I'd say 3/4 of the map will be exploitable, and only ocean borders have something to explore.
Today I bring a new project that will make:
I'm a fan of books and games of ''The Witcher``, and decided to make a map based on the world of The Witcher. I did the basic ground in World Painter with elevations, mountains, lakes, etc. I want to put the most important points of the Witcher universe, including:

- Ard Carraigh
- Novigrad
- Tretogor
- Oxenfurt
- Gors Velen
- Ellander
- Vizima
- Vengerberg
- Rivia
- Maribor
- Nastrog, Rozrog, Bodrog
- Cintra
- Brokilon Forest
I also want to put secondary places, a city in the Mahakam mountains (like the city of the dwarves of The Witcher 2), the swamp of Velen (place of the ladies of wood in The Witcher 3), Black Forest in Angren (House of Glass Comic) , x sodden hill, Lighthouse Peixe de Mar near Cintra, Doll Blathanna, Belhaven etc ...
