Introduction
Hello! My name is Mo0stache. I am the lead designer and director of this puzzle map called "Crafter!" I've been so fascinated with maps for so long and how they worked. Many were original but I knew that maps based off some games are also popular. So why not Portal 2?
I finished the game awhile ago, but I still love the topic and the story itself. It was written in a way that is inexplicable and enjoyable. I love Minecraft as well, even though I've been a member for only a year or two. I've never made a map before but I knew how it worked, so I gave it a shot mixing Minecraft and Portal 2 into a Vanilla Puzzle Map.
The Plan
I plan to make the game somewhat related to Portal 2, with testing your brain and allowing you to do the impossible with even nothing! In each puzzle you will have limited items and you must figure out a way to get to the exit with those items. Can you figure it out?
Wait, wait wait WAIT. How am I supposed to do a game based off of Portal 2 WITHOUT portals? We will see in the future.
Concepts + Ideas (Story)
You are awaken from a long sleep awaiting testing. With only yourself, you enter Redstone Science Labs, and you are spoken to a computer instructing you to do "testing."
Redstone Science is the unknown "secret" labs underground that specialize in mutant species. Some species they have created include Creepers, Zombies, and Mooshrooms.
Desperate to leave this horrid place of torture and experiments, you must complete testing.
Currently there are no bosses.
Collect Redstone devices from hidden chests. They unlock the Multiplayer section.
Requirements
There are no resource packs or any planned to be added to the game. The regular Default is suggested.
No mods required.
1.7.10 or 1.7.9. Both versions are compatible with this map.
Rules + Instructions
Do not break any block for any reason. You risk breaking the map!
Do not change any gamerules.
Place your difficulty to Normal.
Adventure Mode is suggested. If not, use Survival.
"Single Player" can be played up to 2 players. Multiplayer can be played with 2+.
Please give credit if you are sharing this map on social media whether through gameplays or articles.
