You are the lowly cabin boy of a famed pirate and find yourself marooned on a tiny spit of land in the middle of a seemingly endless ocean. You have no memory of what happened prior to the incident only that the Captain and his crew have all mysteriously disappeared leaving you alone. However, the island isn't what it seems and the events surrounding your mysterious crash will soon come to light. In the meantime, can you survive the elements, deadly creatures and the challenges that the Mysterious Island creates?

Will have multiple hand-made dungeons with epic rewards, intricate puzzles, frightening boss battles and the need to survive. It will be a very basic survival island challenge except with one difference... the use of Adventure Mode.
That's right, you will need to find the tools necessary to upgrade and survive utilizing your intellect to do so. The map will also feature a Find the Wool challenge, some of which you will have to complete in order to progress in the game. The game will also feature a Find the Stained Clay challenge. It is similar to Find the Wool but the challenges will be harder to complete without clues.
There are currently no screenshots of this world as I am currently creating the mechanisms and structures that will appear in it. I apologize for the lack of photos in advance, they will arrive shortly I promise.
I do have a simple request however, I am finding it hard to create a pure ocean map. It needs to have generated terrain but no islands whatsoever as I am going to build those from scratch. If anyone can help me in the creation of a large biome empty, deep ocean, please let me know.
Have you tried World Painter for your ocean biome? You can probably do what you're asking for in that. Or I could attempt a go at it as an example.
Trying to learn world painter at the moment. I'm not generally good with these kinds of programs. If you could, that would be excellent. Ore generation is on and whatnot, I'm just finding it difficult to make sure everything stays underwater.

Yeah, that's tough, along with making sure the water level isn't too high. There is a way to just increase the water level to as high as you want it, but to play it safe, I'd say to lower the land pretty far before doing it. I played a map where the water level was at Y:100 and it was not fun at all, haha.
I'll try to whip one up real quick for ya.
EDIT: Water level is normal. Did everything in the first dialog box when you create a New World in World Painter. Still a few scattered islands, but those can easily be flattened or dipped down into the ocean.

It looks great. Just a couple of questions,How would I make it bigger, say 500-1000 blocks in any direction or do you think that is perhaps too big?
And how would I iron out the islands?
Edit: figured out how to iron out the islands
Edit 2: I am starting to get the hang of this but like I said, do you think it would be way too large for the 500-1000 blocks when dictating the world limit? I also need a little help with the caves. PM me lol so I'm not putting all of this on here.
